Think that’s fine, we’ve still got an absolutely stacked year ahead - I’ve only recently finished Veilguard, am in the middle of Indy and Avowed (loving both but particularly the latter) and want to take a run at KCD2.
Let alone all the other games coming - AC Shadows let alone all the Xbox output are all on my list…
Well Xbox is putting out quite a bit, delaying Fable gives it extra time to polish. Of course, the usual bullshit farmers are going to jump on this while ignoring anything else coming to the platform.
Appreciate the really early news drop on a game that is now confirmed delayed. It used to be like closer to supposedly release window that they will drop the news. So I’m happy about this. Also, it’s perfectly fine for them to delay as this year is stacked as it is.
Lastly, GTAVI has one less victim to conquer. Pray for others.

GTA 6 kinda makes it impossible for most games to get the spotlight in the best way possible.
Although am mostly surprised that Outer Worlds 2 seems to be the one that is being poised to release around that time.
Even then, we don’t really know which xbox game, outside of that one, Ninja Gaiden 4 and COD, could release in the latter half that is not those three.
I would be shocked if we get anything related to the likes of Contraband, the rumoured Double Fine game or another of the unknown Xbox Publishing games.
This year was and is packed and we still dont know whats coming later in the year, let them polish it up like Obsidian did with Avowed. That turned out pretty well.

Crazy that 5 years later we still haven’t seen more than a few seconds of continuous gameplay. They announced this thing way, way too early.
I’m glad it’s not just a delay announcement without any footage, at least we got that. But I do get you though.
Also, is it just me or did the lighting look a bit better in the June 2024 footage? Things change, but I noticed it, maybe I’m seeing things.

I wonder what game is given the Direct after the Xbox Games Showcase in June.
E-Day since it’s gonna be Xbox’s big 1st party release this fall (excluding CoD of course). Believe! 
Yeah, maybe. But if it is, I would think that majority of what is shown will be co-op/multi-player based as opposed to the campaign itself. At least with Fable being a massive action RPG, there would be a lot more to show and go into detail about.
I can see The Outer Worlds 2 possibly getting the Direct slot if E-Day isn’t 2025.
I expected it and obviously it’s for the better, the game is looking amazing, I hope it’s early 2026.
