Radahn boss fight is kicking my butt. spirit summons seem to stop appearing over time, or significantly lessen their appearance which makes him all but impossible with my astrologer build.

I lost 70k runes once. I stopped caring though and embraced the hyperefficient rune farming methods. 70k is literally nothing now.

What are you doing to farm? I’m around level 50 atm and could use some extra oomph.
I did a quest that gives you an item that teleports you to a high level zone. In that zone is a high level monster that drops around 11000 runes per kill. That monster is positioned near a cliff and with a bow shot you can make it charge from the cliff for some free and cheesy runes.
It’s very cheesy and takes a bit of practise, but it’s better than farming the same mobs over and over again.

Waiting for people to show up at the summoning pool near Kingsrealm Ruin is absolutely brutal. Might just have to grind runes to give myself a boost.
Is there a written version? I hate planning through videos for instructions.

Got done with the Wolf boss AKA Sword Sif ver.2 in 2nd area. Found a Crystal sword that I upgraded to +6. Amazing weapon.

I can’t beat him, despite trying all day yesterday lol
I was using the grafted blade I got from beating leonine, but I changed to a decent but faster weapon that causes bleed damage. I also smeared that blade in blood grease. Once I got close enough to start the fight, I got on torrent and basically just tailgated him the whole time. Hacking at his horse. I got it was pretty effective and I manage to get him down to about 25% health before he started the second phase. I basically exercise patience and distance until I could repeat the same thing. Greased my sword again and then moved in when I got a chance. Ended up making short work of him. Probably took me 20 tries or so overall. But I think it only took 2-3 after changing my tactic/weapon.

yeah soon after losing that, I made 200K runes in an hour farming it all back lmao, and this is still at that Dragonbarrow area. Went up from Lvl 60 to 72.

I got very lucky one time and he was just riding around attacking summons, letting me hug him from behind and delete him before he even had the chance to go meteor.
Also I’m 2/3 through the game right now by my estimations and the game definitely loses a bit of it’s magic at the later stages. Lots of repeated enemies and boring item hunts because the game is being an absolute dildo about giving you enough regular smithing stones.
They could have probably made the experience smaller without losing what made it great in the first place.
How did you get them to + 6 mine are only + 4 at the moment
