Elden Ring |OT| Rise Tarnished & Become The Elden Lord (of the dance!)

I talked to Blaidd in Ranni’s Tower before I ever saw him in Mistwood. I also killed Darriwil without him. Any idea how I can continue the quest at this point?

I cannot find Blaidd anywhere now.

I was never interested in souls games until Elden Ring. This game is a perfect 10 and very likely the game of the year for me. I think you don’t give non-souls gamers enough credit.

Have you fought Radhan yet for Ranni’s quest? If not he should be in the courtyard along with quite a few other NPC’s

I have not! I will add that to the list. Thanks!

If you talked to him at Rannis tower he tells you where he is going. Always make sure to talk characters multiple times. For some reason they don’t always give you all the info the first time you talk to them. Take the elevator in mistwood… he will be where it leads

Have you searched for him in Siofra River?

Remind me to never help out any NPC who comes off as uppity, posh, and entitled. Haight can kiss my whole ass.

I mean, I’m a non-souls gamer as well to an extent. Closest I got was 1 fifth into Demon’s Souls. But I do think this game will not be for everyone. Case in point Margit.

Not yet. I only went down there once and that was before I ever talked to him. I’ll do that next.

Thanks!

At this point in the series, if players are still too proud or stubborn to use the summon system and instead chalk it up to a perceived unfairness or that the difficulty is insurmountable than they’ll never be satisfied with a FROM game. ER is tough but it also implements so many tools for the player to use to combat these obstacles.

And Margit has become an interesting example. Because on its face, he’s a hard boss especially for being the first ā€œproperā€ boss (Tree Sentinel is just a ā€œwelcome to Dark Soulsā€ style enemy that clearly communicates to the player that they need to learn and level up first). But Margit has a very limited moveset in both phases and his attacks are very telegraphed so any person who can dedicate a few hours to learning the ropes and leveling up can take him on. But again, it is made easier by summoning (whether that be spirits or other players). However, the trade-off is that Margit’s health is increased to counter the additional support.

I have always liked Souls games but never loved them. I can say so far that Elden Ring is the best Fantasy open world game for me since Skyrim. It is amazing and I hope From continues to make these types of games.

Exploring Road’s End Catacombs and it wasn’t difficult to figure out but I like how the one time I actually find an illusory wall no one leaves a message lol.

Seems with that your most viable option is to just outlevel everything lol. That’s how I play, I haven’t leveled my magic stats once haha. I see people saying Radahn is one of the hardest Souls bosses ever but I went there at level 90 something with a +9 legendary weapon (somber stones) and only took IIRC 2 tries.

Use ashes of war, find one that compliments your playstyle and weapon.

me on Vamp mode with :drop_of_blood: Bloody slash. :smiling_imp:

I hope for DLCs that add more bloodloss and Arcane weapons to the game.

This game is sucking the life out of me lol.
