Do you think Starfield, Fallout, The Elder Scrolls, Doom, and all other Bethesda IP will be Xbox/PC exclusive? Why or why not?

It’s funny that in the parenthesis, she totally starts to get it…

How about…if Spider-Man comes to PS5 does it really matter if it comes to Xbox. The charity only works one way

Surprised this thing is still being discussed around the net…

  • MS won’t ignore 100 million PS gamers - No-one owns a PS5!
  • MS needs to make their money back - Gamepass subscriptions!

You don’t go to the effort of setting up xcloud only to release these games on your rivals machine. This deal was not just about Sony, Microsoft have been focused on subscription through software for a long time now and they won’t be releasing games on stafia or luna either.

I can only imagine the meltdowns that will be had when those in denial realise these games are going to be console exclusive.

Ya i dont get why they keep bring up the Player base for PS4 when noone have a PS5 make no sense and doesnt Fallout and Eder scrolls sell best on PC anyways

I don’t know Andrea that well, just saw her a few times in some videos but I did expect better from her, I expected more logic and common sense from her.

But I believe Rhand said it best (if I’m not mistaken) a lot of people he used to look up to, go to for their knowledge…they’ve shown they are a bit…odd I guess.

The whole idea for Microsoft is that eventually gamepass will have enough subs to turn a profit. Until then Microsoft is more then comfortable to take a loss. They can’t convince people to get gamepass if they release their games on playstation. The whole argument against people not getting a xbox was that they have no games and all of a sudden they have games but Microsoft will put them on ps5, what a joke. “Oh but their leaving money on the table” not if you enter the xbox ecosystem and spend money in it, now they are making 30% cut of all your purchases. Thats the money they are leaving on the table

Yes. 7.5 billion dollars. You don’t spend that to let games go to your competitors platform

Exactly. PC has 300 million gamers and Android is on 2 BILLION devices. But they need Sony? They’re leaving money on the table? Please don’t make me laugh.

i’ve voted the first option

but

has anyone in the gaming media / community asked themselves the opposite question though?

would Sony allow MS published games on their console? (and i mean Sony corp, not their community)

think about it, they’ll sell ~100m console during the course of the generation one way or the other

The online service based games and mobile games will stay on other platforms. So Elder Scrolls Online, Fallout 76, etc.

Everything else will be Xbox/Win 10/xCloud

That and the next game out of Zenimax Online as well. Other than that the rest will be Xbox and PC only apart from mobile games obviously.

Would be interested in seeing how GamePass will work with MMORPGs. If they did something like bundling the paid tier with Game Pass it seems like it’d be an amazing way to draw people into the ecosystem. The ESO Plus Membership is $15 a month on its own.
