I’m of the opinion that Sony would rather do their own version of Gamepass only available on PlayStation, Smartphones and PC than allow Gamepass on PS5 unless Gamepass on PS5 will only have 1st party Xbox games but who knows, crazier things have happened.

Why the hell would they? What benefit does it bring Sony? Its just stupid to think it is any chance.
Firstly, there isn’t massive margins in Gamepass. If MS gave Sony a 30% cut of all GP sales on the Playstation, Microsoft would be lucky to make a dollar themselves. So why would MS put Gamepass on Playstation for free?
Secondly, if Sony did allow Gamepass on Playstation then they would miss out on all the money from PS users playing the game on GP and not buying it on Playstation.
Thirdly, with MS bringing out xcloud why do they need Sony? Anyone with a smartphone or smart TV can use it without the need for their PS.
Fourthly, MS wants people to buy their own console, and keeping GP off Playstation means players will have to invest in a gaming PC or an Xbox.
