Cyberpunk 2077 |OT| It feels like it's taken 2077 years for this game to release (and might take another 2077 years for it to be fixed)

bruhh

Then again it could simply be performance mode only on the PS5 running backcompat, aint no way anyone is playing at 30fps vomit on next gen hardware until like mid 2021.

ehhh a very short one right? Either way you look good regardless xD

This patch might be really good, right?

What’s the file size now?

63,8Gb. Don’t know if I already have the day one patch, this update on the queue is a bug. 1,4 TERABYTES!!!

Atleast the game launched, I“m looking at the options first, there is no performance mode.

How about framerate?

So Series S doesn’t have performance mode? Sounds like a XSX thing only right now?

PS5 has it too.

Wonder what the resolution is going to be since it’s basically PS4 Pro.

So, I jump right into it just to see how it runs. Later I will delete this save and customize my character properly.

Framerate is pretty fluid, looks like 60fps but I can’t say for certain. The graphics, lightning, character models are top notch.

Already found a bug on the audio, none of the voices of characters had played on this 5 minutes I played. Maybe is related to the fact I am still downloading english audio(I wanna hear Keanu Reeves on my first playthrough, sorry brazilian voice actors).

Anyway, in a few hours I will sit down and have real first impressions.

On Reddit people are complaining saying it’s 30fps on Series S but it looks pretty good in your clip

Yeah, it looks real smooth. First loading into game was incredibly fast.

Very interested in people’s views on how the modes hold up on Series X - anyone got any insight? I’m looking to probably play in Quality mode for first playthrough since I just don’t feel like its a twitch style game where 60 matters. Then I’ll go 60 when next gen patch hits.

That clip is 100% not 30fps. No way. Seems 60 to me

That’s what i thought. Maybe the day 1 patch contains a 60fps option for Series S?

Played an hour on my XSX. Performance mode is very smooth while graphic mode feels really rough. Wish I had more time to play

Interesting! And how does it look visually? If you had to guess, dynamic 4K?

On Reddit someone shows comparison pictures of quality mode and performance mode. He says performance mode is smooth but has drops but overall is more blurry than quality mode. He prefers quality mode. He also compares to PS5 and says it only offers performance mode and is much blurrier. It does run smoother than XSX he says but it’s not worth the trade off he says.

nah immediately looked 30 to me lol, but real smooth 30 tho

Hope the patch for 60fps comes soon for it

That’s a very smooth looking 30fps then, because I didn’t see any real bad blur or stutter. ACV is near unplayable with quality mode. Then again I guess CDPR is really good at it because 30fps in Witcher 3 feels smoother than any other 30fps game.
