There has to be way more. We already know about one expansion and Todd also said there would be a lot of post launch content. I could swear he said that. And if one game absolutely deserves and warrants that, it’s this.

I just wonder in which ways it will be remastered because Fallout 3 already is pretty much a remaster with the One X patch. Not sure if it got FPS boosted too? Hopefully it’s more like a remake with visuals like Starfield.

Probably a remake more than a remaster. Maybe with some revamped mechanics like the shooting.

The Tony Hawk games were called remasters too but visually it was more like a remake. But it wasn’t built from the ground up. So I guess that’s why they call it remasters.

Doubt it’s a remake, probably be an outsourced remaster with improved textures/models/etc.

They were basically putting UE5 on top of the old Engine to improve graphics and basically leave everything else alone.

Hmmm, that would mean combat would remain as it is, which is not great because it hasn’t aged well at all. But it’s probably not an easy task to change that, if at all possible.
They might make some more tweaks, who knows.
I do think we should stop expecting every remake/remaster to be a massive undertaking from the A team like RE or Dead Space though.
I think we should expect something closer to Mass Effect basically.

I don’t believe this says much on how things are now.
It’s been a long time and for a company going through major things like an acquisition and Covid, becoming first party, games released its probably all different plans by now.

I bought Oblivion and all the DLC to play via backwards compatibility. You are welcome for my sacrifice.
Personally, I would have preferred a new take on Quake over a new Doom 3. Hopefully Quake is also being made alongside Doom.

Yeah I feel there’s a good portion of stuff that got postponed indefinitely or cancelled . Anyways , hope to see fallout and oblivion remaster. I just feel bad for all the teams to get their stuff leaked like this

But these are older documents, so stuff could have been changed. And it seems they have not given up on Redfall. But I am hoping it’s a small team sticking with it and the rest making brand new stuff. I just hope the Arkane of old is still there. If we are to believe Jason Schreier a lot of people left. But I think he meant the Redfall Arkane team.
And… new, cool things added we have no idea about. I think this should just be viewed as a historical document from that moment in time. Interesting, but largely irrelevant.

True but majority of those games would sell like hot cakes and in some cases, make fans like me like Microsoft and Xbox even more because they’re giving us the games we want.
As for Redfall, there’s no multi-player component, it’s not big, didn’t do well and isn’t going to. Pete Hines saying what he said was simple - what else is he going to say? I don’t see what they could possibly do with Redfall to even get people to try it. The game design can’t change so what’s the point? It is what it is and sometimes, when you “miss” , you just need to accept it and move on instead of being held back by it.

Hopefully after Fallout 3 we get a New Vegas remaster too.
Plus hopefully after Oblivion we get Morrowind, even though it should come out first, in my opinion.
