Avowed is set to release Fall 2024 - new gameplay shown

Very excited for this now more than ever before, what they showed in the Xbox podcast a few days after the Direct looked really good and it shows a bit of swimming in there which is cool in first person, from the little I’ve seen I now have higher expectations for this compared to Outer Worlds, it is looking much better than that.

However, while Avowed will, apparently, take place shortly after the events of Deadfire, Patel says it won’t narratively be connected to it. “The two storylines are very separate,” she adds - as separate as the continents they take place on. “The process that Eothas sets in motion at the end of Deadfire is not an instantaneous state-change in the world,” she explains. “It’s something that is going to take place and slowly change the world over generations, not overnight, so that gives us a bit of breathing room to give the player some other adventures in the interim.”

Avowed takes place shortly after PoE 2 which means more reason to play this (and the first one) fantastic game.

I guess that leaves the door open for PoE 3.
