Anime and Manga Thread

I could not get through “Ijiranalde, Nagatoro-san”

It got realllllly annoying.

Ahh lol understandable, it’s about some kid getting repeatedly bullied by some girl or something right? I thought it’d be just funny and interesting in a Kaguya Love is war type way, but guess not. Anyway, guess I’ll push that to the bottom of the list.

Yep these were the two I had in mind as well to start off with. I’d actually started with Tower of God a bit last night but it was super late and I fell asleep through the pilot so have to restart watching lol.

And Yesss, laid back camp is just MY type of anime. Chill, short wholesome slice of life with none of the usual epic grand scale and melodrama that many anime fall trap to. The other anime in similar vein to Yuru camp that I loved was A Place Further than the Universe which is easily in my top 10 anime all time. But that was just one season. :sob::sob:

I heard second season of Yuru camp is even better in some regards, so that’s just more exciting for me. Feeling like starting with that, but it’s the start of the week and I don’t wanna see something too chill and lose all motivation to work :joy:

I would suggest Tower of God , Deca-dence and Akudama Drive . The problem with Tower of God is that its crunchyroll original anime and Sony recently closed that division . So we might not get S2 .

That’s unfortunate.

But thanks, I’ll prioritize these!

I have a feeling Ousama ranking is going to be a hit . It has bonkers staff ( Arifumi Imai is the animation director , the guy that did Attack on titan ODM scenes ) , oozing with style and a really good writer .

yup it’s not getting the limelight so far coz more mainstream action stuff are coming in the same season, but you can never count WIT studio out

Yeah, I tried to look up videos solely for the anime but many of them mix the manga in it, hell no.

As for what you said…I’ll put it in spoilers

Eren has had those memories ever since he was in the crystal cave with Rod and Historia. And throughout that whole season he stayed himself, recognisable.

But as soon as we see him in S4 he’s incredibly different. So did he see things about his father we haven’t yet? I’m still wondering what Grisha’s goal was, his endgame. He passed the attack Titan and founding titan on to Eren, but we don’t really find out what he wants him to do, or did I not pay attention? We now know that Eren agrees with Zeke and Zeke and Grisha didn’t exactly see eye to eye with eachother and Zeke even called his father Grisha a liar at the end of S3.

Eren’s life long dream of freedom is borderline impossible so I think that is enough to change . Plus in S4 , he is forced to do what the “monsters” he hated did to his hometown . He is no different from the things he hate . I think this is enough to change a person . Grisha’s mission was to eat the founding Titan and restore Eldia . His people are oppressed so he wanted to free them . He did tell him (well not exactly ) . Eren heard the mission when Eren Kruger was describing it to Grisha . You can see when Kruger is describing the mission , its Eren sitting next to owl instead of Grisha ( just a neat trick that the mission was actually meant for Eren ) . Zeke wants to kill his own race to grant them freedom from this hellish world while Grisha wanted to free his own race by killing who oppressed them .

These are the things we know as of part 1 of S4 .

Star Wars Visions is great. Studio trigger did a great job at being themselves in one of their episodes, and offered a suprisingly grounded story in their other one. The Ninth Jedi could EASILY become a full on series
