What’s this list, most popular anime in the past decade?
Rimura sama is Badass
The isekai animes are goat
Most popular anime to Japanese users on twitter over the past decade lol.
Never knew Oregairu was so popular. I remember when the started making a manga based on the light novel. Fan groups started translating it, but soon stopped due to it’s lukewarm reception. Might have to give it a second chance.
I find it terribly overrated personally and just ouright boring. Remember being hyped for s3 to the point that I bought the blu ray pack and after rewatching s1 it left me thinking “damn this thing is so corny and awful”. Flipped it on ebay for $30 and never looked back
But it is super popular and the LN are top sellers.
Im just happy my girls are there at #7 lol. Got them behind glass locked away for protection lol.
And a full look at the thing
That’s always the risk with romcoms. Some have a really funny premise, but fall back to the same old plots and tropes that have been done hundreds of times before.
Haha I remember when Quints exploded online. Personally never really got into it due to harem fatigue, but it was funny at the very least.
This “harem” just different due to the dynamics and all the characters are good so they never delve into cliches or old tropes so thats why I love it so much.
But yes Ive never seen such a similar manga explode to the point it got top 5 in sales in back to back years. They built different.
Yeah, I think the last few years have been very good for the Rom Com genre. There have been some absolute gems releasing the past few years, with great pacing and original plots. The turnaround the genre made has become a meme, with fresh series having some of that ‘Reiwa Energy’ . Most of the generic, samey tropey crap being made today is nearly always an Isekai.
Damn, Water 7 arc in One Piece is just too freaking good. I cannot stop watching and it’s all I do these last few days.
Some of the parts are so, so strong. Great character development, fantastic back story and where it’s headed now, oh man. The arc isn’t even over yet.
Just finished To Your Eternity. Yeaaah, that shit has me in tears. Glad to hear season 2 confirmed for next year!
Question for the One Piece watchers here, those that have seen beyond Water 7. One thing slightly bothering me…
As awesome as Luffy’s stage 2 and 3 are, where did this come from? It was thanks to stage 2 that he defeated Blueno rather easily and stage 3 got him to destroy the big iron doors. However, when did he learn these? He got his ass handed to him by Aokiji, he got thrown out of Iceburg’s place quite easily too. But now we got this crazy OP Luffy…rather out of the blue.
In Naruto and Shippuden we at least see him training and learning the new moves/abilities. So Oda just wants us to believe Luffy somehow has been training in-between?
He didn’t really train for those moves, it’s more that he gets inspiration from others and just starts using them. He learned Gear 2 due to being inspired by Soru( the quick flash step type thing CP9 do) and his inspiration for gear 3 is the giants he had met on Little Garden.
Oooooh, nice!
So if he wanted he could have done this in earlier fights, after having seen what inspired him? So let’s say during him mowing through all the marines before ending up with Blueno, if he wanted he could have used it there too? As for stage 3, there just was no reason yet for him to use it before? Also with quick step you mean what they call Moon Walk in the anime?
Makes sense now.
One Piece naming is a bit weird since there are multiple translations going around and some use a romanization of the Japanese term. This is what I mean with Soru Soru | One Piece Wiki | Fandom it’s called shave in some translations I think
Ah, got ya, it’s clear now!
Finished Water 7 and Enies Lobby.
I maybe should have taken a break somewhere because after a while in Enies Lobby it felt to me that it was starting to drag a little. I told my buddy who is a hardcore fan that this arc was a bit too long. Until he told me these are two arcs, haha.
Crazy stuff overall though, love it. Now it’s time for a actual break so I can actually play some Psychonauts 2, sjeesh.
Respect for the Wotakoi thumbnail.
Personally don’t really rate Wotakoi. It’s basically a Japanese version of the big bang theory.
