The table part is the worst like for the football one you got to go up the middle 3+ times and it goes straight back down and unless you are pixel perfect it’s a lost ball.

I’m working through Death’s Door and man these achievements are annoying. None of them seem hard (except the umbrella one, which isn’t too bad once you upgrade your strength), but there are a lot of collectibles or specific spots for things and most guides are a pain. In isometric games like this it seems like nobody can decide if North is up and left, straight up, or up and right, which makes it really hard to follow text guides to find specific things, and I hate having to follow video guides if I can avoid it.

I’ve been meaning to play through this one for a while now and I finally forced myself to do it. Some of the achievements were pretty rough, not because of difficulty, but just because there are so many collectibles and not much to give any hints as to where they are. Found a couple of good videos on YouTube though to help mop up the last few achievements, and I’m glad I finally made time for this game because I really liked the story in the end.

Not to shabby. Fun game for people struggling has accessibility options that would make it a breeze. with this takes me over 33 k for the month . Hoping to get a few more games including the last few Grindy achievements in ni no kuni 2

Hope you got some decent equipment drops from the labyrinth because you need it for the Solosseum.

So for grinding do you just do floor 81-91 to get the gold chest or go right to 100?

81-91. I think the equipment level is maxed out on stage 81.

And to be safe keep accessories that let you life with 1 HP.

For labyrinth and trash mobs in the Solosseum I used mainly Roland and for bosses I used Evan. While playing the DLC you will unlock something that can change your abilities for your characters. Wizard companion on Evan and Martha’s Method on Roland.

I struggled only against the sandworm boss in one of the later Solosseum stages, but I just spammed Rolands combo attack and skills and got it completed under 2min for s-rank on my first try. I think Ding Dong disciple is better on Roland, but I just brute forced through it with Martha’s Method.

Yeah I have unlocked the few of the mage way and din dong dell.

Keep flipping between the labyrinth. Dream way and going to soon finish the forest maze on hard for that last achievement just debating what lvl I need to be for that

For the solosseum when you went for s ranks what level were your characters?

Some people said 150 is needed and I’m like really… that’s a lot of grinding lol

Was level 150 as well. Didn’t even grind for levels. Equipment is much more important.

I won’t bore you all with my thoughts of all these games since I’ve not been keeping up to date posting. But can I say how much I hate zero death run achievements!?! I just won’t do them anymore and find the them a totally needless time sink. One wrong move and you’ve wasted hours. Bramble was pretty cool thought. Love the the beautiful dark world they created and genuinely scared me in parts. Gets pretty dark in other ways too. Recommend if you want a linear game that plays like Limbo.

I had fun with this one, but not nearly as much as with Turnip Boy Commits Tax Evasion. It has the same style of humor that I love, but the bank was too small for a game where all you’re doing is replaying that same level over and over and over and over. I realize that’s what a Roguelite is, but for comparison Hades had more variety, and it actually had a good plot reason to continue playing through multiple times. TBRaB only has the reason of “more money I guess” which got old quick. Luckily it was pretty short, but after how much I loved the original this one disappointed me quite a bit.

Most people (on TA) seem to use the cheats to get a quicker completion. But it’s definitely fun enough to do it “properly,” in my opinion. To each their own, of course. :slight_smile:

Don’t know why they didn’t remaster it, though. The gameplay is fun, but the graphics look every bit as old as they are.
