I played Kabaret on steam since the devs let me have a code. its GOTY material. Achievement wise it’ll most likely take 4? (minimum guess )full playthroughs. It took me 8 hours for 1 playthrough. Until they can had QoL stuff, like manual saves, theres only auto. It will take some dedication. First playthrough got me 48% of the achievements. Fantastic experience with great art style and incredible music and sound design. Monster designs are great aswell. Jebat, the main character has depth and goes through great character development. Its definitely dark with some scenes. The tea making is relaxing and the mini games are fun times. Props to a visual novel game that doesn’t sell itself short via auto skip text and easy ass achievements.

This whole problem is not really that easy to fix. These games and title updates are already out there and you can’t delete achievements. Designing policies without work arounds will be hard, i.e. would you ban visual novels?

MS could ask a 10k$ fee for every 1000 achievements in a title update, that should kill some business cases from the likes of Xitilon. And they should definitely clamp down on exploits with console commands.

TIL achievement developer and publisher release their games on multiple languages without region lock. Apparently language stacking is the newest loophole. :confused_wat:

Loophole for what? Isn’t it their prerogative to gate different languages behind a distinct purchase? Also outside of countries specific content laws (I don’t think this is an issue with Canadas bilingual packaging laws) I don’t see why it’s an issue to sell a German only game in Canada. There are people who live here that speak German.

You can update your only game instead of releasing other versions ?

We always had games with different languages which are region locked.

It’s clearly aimed at achievement hunter. Game has a TA ratio of 1.1

Completion #118 :achievement:

Finished it in the last minute before it leaves Game Pass. I really enjoyed it, it was better than LiS 2 but didn’t reach the first game. I actually enjoyed it enough to be interested in the DLC, and I saw it had an ultimate edition which also includes the remastered versions of Life is Strange and Before the Storm… Put that on my wishlist!

I don’t know what it is but these games appeal very much to me, all the emotions they bring out. Some things are very relatable albeit not exactly the same but the core of it sometimes speaks directly to me. I guess it’s a part of being human, our experiences and emotions can be very similar even though the circumstances differ.

Beutiful game too.

I had fun with this one. The updates they did fixed the game for the most part. Mindless shooter. Never played it back in the day. You can play on easy and just replay the last level(has no combat too) on hard to get that difficulty achievement

Perfect example of a bad list. It has 5 achievements just for killing spiders. Could’ve had 3 for killing each boss. Not too bad of a game once you learn the layout. Next week i might go ham with GS
