Really enjoyed Steelrising but the achievements are so annoying. The no estus flask one is ironically way better than the true completionist achievements. There’s one do do every sidequest in specific ways that are incredibly missable, but by doing that you don’t get one of the two endings that trigger achievements.

Completion #54: Among Us

With the help of some friends, and a TA game session, managed to complete Among Us. Still think it’s a great party game with friends so I’ll probably come back to it time to time for some game nights.

I regret to inform you that Pupperazzi is still broken for many Xbox users. Its so bad for me that the game crashes before I even get to the main menu at times (otherwise it crashes every time at the main menu).

This is a friendly PSA telling you that if you want to 100% this game, its basically roulette. So good luck, because looks like I won’t be able to do it.

On the bright side? It was on Game Pass, so at least I didn’t spend additional money on playing it.

Nope, I’ve only tried it on my Series X. I know multiple people mentioned that trying it on a different Xbox didn’t work (and removing their saves didn’t work for many either), but I can definitely give the PC/XCloud way a shot. Didn’t even think of that.

That’s odd. I finished it back near its release in February. I didn’t have any real issues, other than some shots not counting or images on the photos not showing but the did count.

Yeah its strange. I’ve tweeted at the developer and publisher to see if there were any updates (there is a TrueAchievements thread on the issue and I guess one of the devs said they were working on fixing this months ago?).

Its safe to say some people on TA aren’t very happy. lol

This was one of the most enjoyable shooters I’ve played in a long time, the writing and story is very bad but the gameplay loop is very addicting and the guns are like butter. Such a smooth experience. I’m planning to make Deathloop my next completion.

Wow, you actually got all the DLCs stuff. Nicely done! I still need to do some of the DLC achievements from the Season 1 content, but most of my friends bounced off BL3 fairly early.

I had no idea there was a TrueAchievements app for Xbox . It’s really nice that it integrates with the search for help feature as well. Plus it has achievements, which also apparently count towards rewards activities. My weekly set is saved from my Dreamlight Valley addiction.

It was even nicer when Xbox had the SNAP feature last generation, as it could be up on the side while playing the game.

Completion #55: Back to the Future The Game

Finally went back to complete this game after keeping it on my back burner for years now. It was an absolute slog to go through though and I only enjoyed it since I know and enjoy the movies. If I wasn’t a fan of the movies I don’t think I’d have made it through the game honestly. Glad I finally got around to finishing it though as the story was fun, just the controls, and overall roughness of the game really weighed down most of the enjoyment, you can tell this was one of Telltale’s games made under tight budget and crunch though.

I am so on board with Telltale focusing 100% on story and choices and ditching the puzzle elements in their newer games. Big improvement.

Story telling was always their strong suit, the puzzles always felt a bit forced and never really added much if anything at all the the gameplay.
