Achievement Hunting |OT| Every point counts

Yeah it is a bit sad that it will be the last game of the old-school AssCreed’s I play, I really enjoyed them. But I’m also looking forward to getting to Origins and Odyssey, so it’s a bit of mixed emotions.

Orgins is a masterpiece imo, Odyssey had too much bloat but I’m glad Valhalla has been made by the Origins team, should be excellent.

Can’t wait! I really look forward to the Egyptian setting, awesome that it’s the same team on Valhalla -another favourite setting, ancestors and all

Given how sadistic some of the levels are in Crash 4, I definitely am not going to 1000G on that, considering it also requires all Platinum times to be beaten.

I was going to do a quick run through of Saints Row 4 on Gamepass pc since it’s leaving on the 16th, but after an hour I noticed achievements weren’t unlocking. Apparently it’s a thing with that game, so Cancelled that idea.

The last few nights I’ve been slogging my way through Dynasty Warriors 6 and I only have 2 achievements left and they are both terrible. The last one is a classic Dynasty Warriors “Why???” achievement. Basically I have to level every character to level 50. That’s going to take… a while.

Observation is good huh? Been eyeing that a while…

Given that FIFA21 has a seperate port for XSX I assume on launch day there’ll be very few players compared to X1 so I’d assume going for that FUT division achievement would be easiest on Nov 10th?

Man I feel so broke rn. I can only choose 1 next gen game which was either FIFA 21, AC, or Cyberpunk.

My rationale was I can wait until FIFA 21 becomes free through EA play in probably 5 months. Waiting for Cyberpunk to gets its upgrade, so I’m going for AC.

Anyway. I’m excited because I’m only 10k away from 100k babbbbbbyyyy. Seeing as I was a PS-Only person for most of last gen I see this as a win

I bought a couple of achievement fodder games with MS bucks and boosted my score by 2000, but I really find it hard these days to buy games just for gamerscore. Think I’ll just stick to playing games that I enjoy and play the odd easy game from game pass for achievements. Also got 100% in Slayaway Camp.

Finally finished Wasteland 3 last week and loved every second of it, definitely on my Top 10 of 2020. I’m now on chapter 2 of Tell Me Why, and man, the story is fantastic in that too.

Think I’ll check out Observation and Deliver Us The Moon once I’m done with Tell Me Why. Cheers people.

Same here, I just used the easy games I had laying around in the backlog or on Game Pass.

I have yet to check out Wasteland 3, waited for some patching but looking forward to it. Tell Me Why was really good indeed! I hope we get more of these from DontNod.

You are in! Thanks for joining!!

Actually this achievement is very easy this year!

FUT 21 now has co-op, so you can join the game of someone who is already in Division 4 and the achievement should pop for you.

Even if you don’t have friends, this achievement was the second I unlocked this year because there is now five placement matches. I won four of them and was placed in the Division 3. It definitely was easier during the early access since everybody was rocking a under-80-rating squad :stuck_out_tongue:

Yeah, your reasoning was the same as the opinion I was going to give :stuck_out_tongue: Cyberpunk is not really the next-gen version, and FIFA 21 will eventually be free.

In my case, though, I can’t live without FIFA. I was thinking about getting FIFA, Watch Dogs, Assassin’s Creed and Dirt – but I really wanted to play Cyberpunk aswell, I don’t know if I’ll be able to wait for the next-gen version :frowning: I would then have to postpone my Watch Dogs purchase.

Completion #81: The Bard’s Tale ARPG: Remastered and Resnarkled

  • Estimated Difficulty: 1/10
  • Estimated Time: 2-3 hours

Very quick and easy completion due to the ability to use in-game commands to teleport you to other locations. It is a good game to boost your completion percentage and TA ratio since it has 51 achievements, with 47 of them having a ratio higher than 2.0.

Talking about the game itself, it is the remaster of a 15-years old game that I have never played in my life — therefore I don’t have any nostalgia for it and would never play it if it wasn’t for the easy completion.

Where did you get the commands? I tried to do this game a few days back but could t find them/how to do it lol

Oh, I forgot to link the walkthrough I used! Here you go:

The walkthrough is extremely easy to follow and will guide you through the game in around 2 hours.

I actually beat this back in the day and enjoyed it. When it popped up on gamepass I decided to play it again and got about a third of the way through the “legit” way before deciding to use the commands. It’s just not a game that holds up as well when it comes to the combat mechanics.

Ooh good tip!

I never liked the way TrueAchievements track the number of completions. A game that is available on Xbox and on PC and has a single list of achievements is counted twice in your statistics. Meanwhile, a game you have completed, but have also left a DLC uncompleted does not seem to count. Not to mention the episodic games that count as completed if you only played through the first chapter.

For that reason I decided to go through my achievements and list all my completions in order. Turns out The Bard’s Tale was my 74th completion, and not my 81st!

Side Note: I originally posted an incomplete list by accident. This post has been edited since then.
