Yakuza / Like A Dragon |OT| That's Rad!

They really threw him back to prison, added some boring dream sequence and make him into a hunter. At least he’s fighting a bear lmao.

What’s worse, Saejima or Robotics?

No its worse, he willingly went back lmao.

Finished all of them except like a dragon. 5 was my least favorite but 6 was pretty great. Yakuza 0 is still the best but 6 was great.

Gonna jump into LAD after i finish plagues tale

Saejima has the best heat move in Yakuza 5.

That deal saved my collection, bought 0, k and k2.

I am planning to start a youtube channel and Yakuza is the second franchise I want to cover the most. This means I will definitely replay Yakuza 0 this year.

From SEGA’s financial report, turns out Lost Judgment has seen a 76% increase in sales compared to the first Judgment!

They also referred to Yakuza as one of their three core pillars alongside Sonic and Total War! They reference how Xbox Game Pass helped them grow the IP.

Sales have also progressively been increasing over time:

Here’s the financial report if anyone wants to see for themselves:

“The latest title of Yakuza series, which we haven’t announced the visual yet”

Huge and well deserved. Lost Judgment is now my second favorite Yakuza and probably these results could be better if the media were more fair with the game. I hope this helps RGG to keep Judgment going and handles Takuya Kimura and PC crazy situation the best way possible for us.

Enough said, I expected Football Manager to be in the same tier as the three franchises cited above.

Could Yakuza 8 come sooner than we are expecting? I’m expecting 2023, but 7 is from early 2020 and they proved able to release the new entry worldwide with Lost Judgment.

Yeah, from RGG’s words, we know it to be the sequel to Like a Dragon. I feel like it won’t be long till it’s officially revealed.

Should be announced this year I reckon

So, the theory season is officially opened?

From Lost Judgment and 7, I’m really confused about the current state of the Isezaki Ijincho alliance. Following the pacing of previous Yakuza, I also expect a new location to be unveiled. In 7, Tojo Clan and Omi Alliance were dissolved and we also went to Kamurocho and Sotenbori. What kind of organization and location can replace the old Yakuzas? I wish they create their own version of Roppongi, it’s about time.

Oddly enough, after three trips to Japan I have never bothered going to Roppongi. Is there anything there that makes it a good spot?

As far as I know, Roppongi replaced Kabukicho as the night parties location in Tokyo over the time. My guess is they can explore more deeply the contrast between past and present with Roppongi. It’s a common theme since Yakuza 3 and Kasuga character enables this as a theme.

Lotta night clubs, I think. Not really my scene, but that’s what I heard from people who’ve gone.

Time for the return of the color gangs!

I feel like we’re getting a Yakuza game this year but not necessarily Yakuza 8.

I’d be beyond excited if we get Ishin in the west. I know they’ve expressed interest before. If they don’t have a title planned for this year it would be a good time to bring Ishin over to fill the gap.
