You donāt like him as a character or playstyle ? There are 4 parts + final. Every part you play as one character. Every character has a different setting but you play 90% in Kamurocho.
Itās a bit of both, itās too slow. Iād rather have had Kiryu or Mayimaā¦ I guess itās a bit too serious for me? Which is fine for others, but I am entitled to not like it as well lol :P.
That is your opinion, and thatās fine, for me itās a crossroads thing were Iām just wondering if I should switch to like a Dragon as it is a bit too slow for me in comparison to Kiryuās silliness. Which is fine to each their own.
Well itās the introduction of Akiyama and Y4. Maybe thatās why itās a little bit slow at the beginning. Personally I think Akiyama is actually a fun character. It will be more serious in Part 2 and so on.
From a Xbox point of view itās crazy how often we get Yakuza game releases. Thereās barely any down time in between games. If youāve started the series with Yakuza 0 on gamepass and played as each game hit Xbox then youāve basically always had a new Yakuza game around the corner. Feelsgoodman.

Yep, thatās the biggest japanese win for Xbox since a long time, Iām currently on hold after playing too many Yakuza games, lol. A little dream would be their Hokuto no Ken game, but sadly that game is locked forever only on PS4 99%.
Huge win. Now xboxs own Shin megami series please.

I think I just care less for character development and more for Kiryu as a silly stand in for over the top power fantasy comedy. Same reason I get turned off from most narrative driven games were itās too much about the person. I guess it feels too distant for me, were as Kiryu is just funny.
Oh man, I would love to have Nocturne, IV, and Apocalypse on my SX!
Lost Judgment is coming, guys! I canāt even concentrate on my job waiting for the release. Who bought the ultimate version and will start tomorrow as well?

He is at top 10, maybe top 5 easily. In character building and in fighting style.
I think they changed the order in Yakuza 5 due to feedbacks like this above. I knew before playing that Kiryu is the last playable char, but people who went blind maybe got disappointed.
I did the NZ trick, even though I have the Deluxe Edition (which should unlock the 24th), but I can play right nowā¦Iām so pumped !! Letās go !
(btw, I finished Judgment yesterday, so itās perfect !)

Did you ever play the coliseum in Y5 with Akiyama ? It was one of the worst experience Iāve ever had. He canāt heal, weak tiger drop-like move and pretty low hp. Even Shinada could heal and you can spam X,Y,B to win everything.
You can pre-install lost judgment via the xbox app. 50gbs.

I have the Ultimate Edition, but I wonāt be able to play till Friday because Iām quite busy. Extremely excited though.

Yeah, Iām pretty sure you can. You have to buy the Ultimate or Deluxe edition for this trick to work I think.
Also, they added a resolution mode at 30 FPS (60FPS is better) and Quick Resume seems to be working.
I didnāt talk about how good he is, but just it is fun to play with him. But, yes, I still have to play the Coliseum
My best Akiyama experience was his Amon fight. Totally forgot to pack any healing items so he almost killed me early on, but I kept him at a distance and spammed Akiās wall heat move since I had the upgrade that slowly fills the heat gauge when health is in the red. Somehow managed to snatch victory from the jaws of defeat (and had to redo Saejimaās fight like 5 times since I also forgot to give him healing items)
I pre-ordered the standard edition, so no early start for me. Have fun, you early birds

Thereās a pretty big spoiler for Yakuza like a Dragon about 10 minutes into Lost Judgment. Beware if you havenāt played it.
