Makes sense given the Lost Judgment trademark news yesterday. Not to mention the first game getting remastered next month, releasing it to the Xbox and PC exposing the series to a new audience. All the signs to a sequel imo. Guess this will be the new RGG game this year (or maybe early next year).
So I’ve beaten 0 1 LAD(7) and 2. Should I get skip to 5 and 6 or play 3 and 4? Heard they were the worst ones. I haven’t started any of the newer ones released on xbox this year.

It’s a little hard playing 3 at first but I got adjusted to it after a bit. 4 is a lot better, especially combat wise.
Honestly don’t skip any of the games, it’s totally worth it and not just for the story. I’m having a lot of fun playing 4 right now.

Don’t skip any. It’s all building up to Yakuza 6 so it’s better to go on that journey.

It will most likely be available to download midnight UK time as Yakuza 0, Kiwami and the remastered collection was. I forgot if Kiwami 2 was out that time, probably was though.

Yakuza 6 is now available to download on Xbox Game Pass.
They didn’t optimize the game for Series S|X right? I assume it’s still 30FPS. I really hope Kiwami 2 and 6 get the FPS Boost treatment, that sounds like a dream.
Yeah ill eventually play them. I’m sort of taking a break from them. Played so much yakuza in 2020.

lmao I seriously thought Yakuza 6 was coming out on the 26th and not the 25th. Didn’t expect to see it up today so I’m pleasantly surprised. I’m guessing it’s 900p 30fps like Kiwami 2 on base Xbox One?
Kind of crazy that all mainline Yakuza games are on Xbox now in the space of 13 months.
There’s also the remaster of Judgment next month but unfortunately I probably won’t be able to play it for a while as I don’t have a Series X or S.

I also thought it was the 26th. It’s weird for new game release to come out on a Thursday. It’s 900p 30fps the same as Yakuza Kiwami 2. At least you’ll have Judgment waiting for you whenever you get a series X/S

Yeah the sudden release really threw me off lol, always so used to Friday releases. Sucks they didn’t enhance it like LAD.
True, I might just get a Series S first and then upgrade to X later.
I love this series.
I just finished Yakuza Kiwami last night, moving onto to both Kiwami 2 and Octopath.
I love how far everyone else is in this series.
It’s like having an awesome TV show (0-7 and Judgement) and everyone is at different seasons.

It’s going to be heartbreaking when I finish them all and have to wait for the next installment in the series. I’m planning to 100% Yakuza 6 to really savour it.
