Also, how the hell do you keep the christmas tree alive for one and a half month?
Christmas is Dec 20th to 27. One week, that’s all I can take.
It was probably more fun up here when we did “midvinterblot”, where the big old tree at the temple in Uppsala was “decorated” with blood safrifices. Then Jesus came around and ruined all the viking fun.
The red balls in the xmas tree is interesting with that in mind.
A lot of people have artificial trees, myself included. Much less hassle

Eww, that should be illegal. I might not be that into the whole christmas thing, mainly because of the over saturation (it’s Nov ffs), but without the tree it’s not christmas, for me.

Forget Christmas, it won’t be long before local supermarkets start selling hot cross buns for Easter. I swear they come out earlier every year.
