Just beat PSO New Genesis campaign.:. Good gods that last chapter was a slog and with more endings than Return of the King.
+1 Total: 5
+1 Eventide.
+1 Crimson Gray.
For a total of 6 points!
Been busy with bloody game pass games as usual
Klonoa: Door to Phantomile
(KLONOA Phantasy Reverie Series) Back in the day I owned hundreds of PS1 games but klonoa was not one of them. Still a good old school platformer that plays about with perspective, which was pretty unique for the time of its release. Probably a wee bit too whimsical for some people in regards to the character design. Now, that Extra level just about had me in tears with how difficult it was… Absolutely no need. On two the second game now. +1
Selma and the Wisp
Bought this one Dirt cheap in a sale years ago for some dirty gamerscore and never got around to playing it. It’s a pretty basic Limbo clone and really wouldn’t recommend it unless you’re wanting some easy GS. +1
+1: Wolfenstein: The Old Blood
Finished the main story in Assassins Creed Odyssey at weekend. Kassandra was great and enjoyed the story and didn’t get sidetracked by too many of the sidequests. Great setting and world too but not a fan of the levelling up when the world seems to keep up but to be fair never had to do any excessive grind to keep up. Ive got the DLC to go back to but for now moving on to Yakuza 6 and Xenoblade 2. Need to settle on 1 or 2 games max and finish them rather than try and juggle more and get nowhere so will not start anything till these 2 done. At least try not too lol
Time for another look at the leaderboard, this is turning into a Monday thing it seems! Good progress from a lot of you. Only me and Batman lagging behind…
+1 Lego pirates of the caribbean on steam.
I prefer the old LEGO games the most than the newer games.
Copy that. The latest Skywalker one is a bit too huge.
Nice. That game is the reason why I have an uneven Gamerscore… Should fix that someday.
I haven’t played a LEGO game in a while now, but there’s plenty in the backlog. I find them very enjoyable, haven’t played many of the newer ones though so not sure which I prefer.
Wow, yeah that completion was a bit long heh. 87 hours completionist on HLTB…
I technically have bought I think 3 different copies (physical deluxe launch, standard digital, and then I ended up getting the more expensive digital one later for some reason…) of the Skywalker Lego game & still haven’t finished it…
I’ll have to check if I finished the pirates of the caribbean one though, I know I made progress on it at some point, but don’t remember if I finished the story.
I did just complete the final achievement in Tell Me Why, decided to go through that over the weekend because I remembered I was halfway through it. +1
now back to Hitman Absolution and probably whatever else I switch to all the sudden.
Klonoa 2: Lunatea’s Veil +1
Don’t be fooled by the cute artstyle! Some parts in this game require hand-eye coordination that I seem to be lacking in my older age. Reminds me a lot of Sonic Adventure on the Dreamcast.
I might have a few games that have been so long in the backlog I’ve ended up with getting several copies over the years. Have a physical copy, see digital on sale and why not? Then there’s a remaster, which eventually gets picked up on sale too. smh
Ah well.
Yeah, I am trying to be much more aware what I’m buying now, but that isn’t the first game I’ve had duplicates of - what also gets me is when we have physical special releases of something I like a lot that I had already bought (I think I had bought Ori before that came out & then had to double dip). I kind of wish I’d waited for the complete edition though because that at least would have saved me 1 of the copies.
I’ve gotten a lot better about it too, when I started looking hard at the backlog I realized how unnecessary a lot of it was.
But then, how do you resist this:
I couldn’t…
I didn’t resist that one either, but I also know that I am going to want digital, so I’m now kinda holding out for that to go on sale at the end of the year during the grace period
Thankfully I’ve got tons to do in the meantime.
+1: Super Mario Bros. Wonder
Yep. I buy every Lego game when they get down to $5 or so. Then I never play any of them… Ha
It’s good to know there are others out there with the same issues haha.
Finished the last DLC for Marvel’s Midnight Suns - The Blood Storm storyline featuring Storm. Also completed the Tomb of Dracula storyline that unlocks after playing all 4 DLC packs.
+0.5
I think that gets me to 3.5 total.
This was part of the Deluxe Edition (or whatever it was called) of Midnight Suns I bought a while back, but the Storm pack had not released yet at the time I finished the game in March of last year (and I did not even realize it was a thing). I just found out about this a few weeks back, so I reinstalled, loaded up my old save, and played through all the new content. Very glad I did. Lots of fun.
If any of you are on the fence on Midnight Suns, and you have any interest in turn-based tactical games, I highly recommend it. One of the absolute best games I played last year.
