I did that one for my game pass game for a while, honestly didn’t figure out the auto drive until toward the end of playing it, but wondered why it kept steering against my input… Did all but the one you need four accounts to complete the achievement.
This is a series that I’ve never started but have wanted to for years, I have the same on Xbox but don’t recall if any others are on the system (also have PS4, PC, and Switch). Would love to get into that one and at least I already have the starting point, unlike the other two RPG series I’ve missed out but want to start: Atelier and Trails of.
- +1 - Pilotwings Resort (3DS) - So, I love the Pilotwings series (especially the N64 sequel which still holds up today)… this was more than a disappointment. I’m glad we got another one but I’d love for the series to return to form, if it ever does. Also, in typical Knottian fashion, I basically beat all but the last three events before dropping this a decade ago
Total = 22.5
- +1 - Mega Man X (Mega Man X Legacy Collection - Xbox One): beaten with every upgrade earned the old school way
I absolutely love this game and the X series, as a whole. So many core memories associated with this game especially - takes me back to living on my mom’s boyfriend’s ranch in CO getting snowed in and playing this all day
Total = 23.5
I think I am going to unceremoniously bow out of the contest. I just cant keep up with the pace of completions here.
We are heading into fall/holiday game jamboree so I think its best I accept my fate in the negative column.
Don’t do that, you never know!
Oh, I know! And you know too!
Go for biggest ever negative score instead!
If I join this next year that’ll likely be my fate as I have an itchy purchasing trigger finger and the attention span of a gnat…
I’ve at least temporarily given up on Bioshock. It wasn’t really appealing to me, though I had only gotten the first two abilities. Definitely seems creative though. Might eventually get back to it but not sure.
I did complete the Among Us (Emergency Meeting) dlc in Vampire Survivors +. 5. No achievements but got all the challenges completed and unlocked all the characters and weapons. Really enjoyed the one for the imposter with the tentacles shooting out of your mouth, but honestly the whole thing was really well done. Vents and crossing wires were also good weapons and loved having a bunch of tiny characters running around with me. Haven’t bought the Contra dlc but of the rest this was definitely my favorite.
Also wrapped up Tales of the Borderlands +1. Haven’t played any other borderlands stuff, but once again Telltale managed to make a story and a bunch of characters I really liked. Didn’t see some of the Handsome Jack stuff coming, and there were a few things toward the end that really surprised me. Once again wish we had more stuff like this getting made.
Ill have a hard time beating my -27 from last year, but I can certainly try!
Eagle eyed participants may have noticed that I didn’t post my usual easy completion last week. That is because I was hit by Hurricane Helene. Everyone, including pets, are unharmed. But I didn’t have power until last night and cell service until this morning. Internet is still out. Hopefully I can just knock out two of them later this week to make up for it.
Damn. Glad to hear you are ok!
Glad you’re OK. Hopefully no damage other than the outages.
@Zip we were extremely lucky. Only one tree limb fell on the house, but with no significant damage. A few things were blown about the yard, but nothing seems missing. The fence probably caught everything.
Just glad to know you and the family are safe, if there’s anything we can do, let us know.
+1 Severed Steel (Epic)
A stylised bullet-time FPS platformer sort of game. (A bit hard to describe.) It’s fairly basic stuff all around, but solid gameplay and good fun. The campaign is only 5 hours. But probably plenty of replayability for speed-runners and higher-difficulty masochists.
Just a bit annoying that the achievements unlocked in-game but don’t seem to be syncing to my profile…
Very glad to hear you are ok.
My son was also in the path of the storm, but somehow only lost power for about 12 hours. Many of his friends/co-workers are still without power days later.
The photos and videos from the hardest hit parts of the country are horrific. I cannot even imagine what those folks are going through.
We successfully hosted a fish fry yesterday for friends and neighbors! A few took advantage of our hot water to take a shower. Our party favors were bottled water and snacks. Internet is still out, but cell service was good enough again today for browsing and sending this message.
Weeks go by fast and it’s time for another update. @Zip still in the lead with @Knottian and @SilentJay76 having an intense battle for second place! Good work everyone
