I just noticed that every game in my GWG tab now says owned…
+0 Geometry Wars 2
Fun enough game. But I’m not spending 10 hours memorising that final level/sequence, so… done.
Do I need to complete Tus If they continue the story to get a point?
That dlc is where I finally started to get a hang on how to drift in FH.
I’m not sure I understand your question. What’s a “tus”?
It was great for that, that looong drifting challenge down the mountain is still fun as hell.
I’m sure @BRiT agrees completely ![]()
Finished a small game. Butterfly +1.
Not much to say about this, a basic puzzle platformer with a lot of easy GS. I love puzzles so I played the levels legit (it has cheats) and it was a mix of incredibly easy levels and some very frustrating ones later on. Decent podcast game, retries was swift and there’s level select if you get stuck.
Lol I frickin hated that one - I still think it might be one of the few PR stunts I’ve not got 3 stars on.
That and the little U shaped one in the city on FH3 and the U shaped one by the reservoir in FH5 are my worst ones.
I want to think I’m Tokyo Drift but I look more like Mr Bean desperately trying to donut rather than drift…
Danger signs are my favourite - I spend forever finding the best spots to start from and rewinding till I hit it right, then speed traps. Speed zones are OK but some dirt track ones I place only just above drifting!
Haha, it’s an acquired taste
Drifting just clicked for me, I love it. Helps I seem to have a talent for it I guess. When I bought my driving setup with wheel/pedals/shifter I was in heaven haha.
I enjoy the danger signs too! It’s fun trying to figure out the right car, the best approach etc.
I really enjoy it all, but I do prefer racing in the lower classes. It’s a lot more fun with less over the top cars. I think my favourite race would be a B class rally if I had to choose.
Absolute torture.
Thats probably where I left off at, when all the drifts showed up for progression.
Oddly enough, my favorite racing is dirt trails then dirt tracks in the A or B classes. I like the getting loose in the corners, but can’t maintain it long enough for drifting challenges.
Maybe APOPHIS1989 meant title updates?
For example Vampire Survivors has added a bunch of achievements / levels / characters as title updates. But this doesn’t count as a completion after you finish the main game, and since they’re not something we intentionally acquired it’s not a dlc completion either.
I’m assuming the question is something along those lines?
Horizon really does shine in the dirt sprints or mixed surface races. Also A and B are definitely a sweet spot, because they don’t require perfect high speed driving but they definitely still require skill.
Ah, that might be it. In that case, yes what you said.
Yeah that’s the best ones. Drifting really helps a lot in regular races too, mastering those curves!
Definitely. I’d argue it’s harder than the high speed S-class road races.
To confirm, title updates are NOT needed for a point, even if it continues the story? The base 1k is sufficient for the point?
Yes.
And the Title Updates don’t give any dlc points.
+1 Story tale (OG 1k, no TUs)
A short, basic puzzle platformer with somewhat of a story tying it all together.
+1.5 all three Hot Wheels Unleashed DLCs (Batman, Monster Trucks, Looney Tunes)
I discovered these while looking to see if I completed any other game sans TUs. It turns out that I completed these just before the game left game pass in March. They each add some new cars and tracks to the game, adding some variety.
I did literally the same thing with those, since I own a physical copy of the base game and wanted to keep from not being able to get them later, but for me they didn’t count since I didn’t own the dlc which was part of the GP version.
I didn’t realize that the DLC was included in Game Pass. I thought I had bought them because I liked the game. Sorry @Mort, those points are a mistake and should be worth zero points. I posted that late at night, so my mind wasn’t all there.
I mean double check if you have them, but the game pass version did have the dlc included. I finished the batman one I think the day they removed that.
