This is why xbox getting sega would be huge. they could have big IP’s like yakuza/like a dragon be exclusive along with persona.

I gotta say that CoD MW2 is quite fun, especially in third person. It’s definitely a welcome addition!

The quality of the third person mode makes me wonder why more devs didn’t go 3rd person to carve out their own market. I think the only popular third person shooters I can think of is Gears, Fortnite, and I guess Rogue Company
We used to have a lot of third person shooter games in the past. Also we have The Division. But then it has become too expensive.
errr I should rephrase that to multiplayer third person shooter. I know it may cost more, but I feel its better to try and make a third person shooter to get a bigger market than compete with the crowder first person shooter MP market
i was really on the fence about paying 70 for god of war but one of the vendors at my work gave me a $100 gift card for my birthday so that solves that

Yeah for sure.
As soon as I started playing third person matches it reminded me of the good old days of console Ghost Recon and Socom. It really looks good too, they spent time on those character animations for sure. I kinda do want to see Halo in third person now.

Considering that PS5 is sold at profit, I wonder what costs that much for Series X.
Microsoft might not be talking strictly about the Bill of Materials but pricing in all the Research and Development costs in to it.
So it may not be Apples to Apples.

Thanks for the responses but after watching the 10 minute gameplay trailer from IGN, I have decided to pass on it. I’ll just wait for FF7 Rebirth and XVI.

Prices could have gone up that made PS5 no longer profitable (hence the price increase). The SoC for XSX is much larger but seems like a pretty high number.

Is third person shooting actually good or just cool for walking around?
Because making an fps is fundamentally different from making a tps and fps is just the superior mode for precision and speed.

Nm, maybe the video the person was aiming. Looks like it does have normal third person shooting, tho I gotta imagine most of COD is spent aiming down sights.
It doesn’t look efficient to me for multiplayer, like you lose a lot of view distance that would blur enemy visibility and ttk, maybe it’s limited to certain modes where everyone is in 3rd person as well? that would make sense
What’s the capacity of the exploit? Pirated games?
Beat Plague Tale 2. What a great game. Game play is average wrapped p in a fantastic story with a great soundtrack. sometimes the charters moved in a stiff way and had graphical glitches but its better than the first game in every way. I loved it but cant give it a 10/10 due to graphical issues so its a solid 8.5/10 for me. kinda reminded me of uncharted. average gameplay with great sound and characters and graphics. I hope we get part 3 one day
