Most people playing Xbox games will do so via Game Pass and if they want to play the cloud version that means using xCloud, this is kind of an easy concession for MS
It’s a win/win for both companies and gives more choice for actual customers

I’m in the same boat as you though. Grandia 1 is a top 5 JRPG ever for me and Grandia 2 not far behind. I’ve got them both on Steam but man…I just want achievements.
