I’m really liking the writing in High on Life, some very smart and also original stuff here. Stuff that makes it stand out from the rest, I wish we’d get more of this in games. Those that played it I’m sure know what I mean here. And I like most of the humor too, not every joke lands, but that’s fine.

About Hogwart’s Legacy sales performance. In Poland, physical copies of the game were sold out across all retailers in big cities on launch day. I’ve never seen situation like this before. Not with RDR2, GTA V, or Witcher and Cyberpunk. It’s not an evidence of anything. Maybe interest was undervalued and game undershipped. But if, not and this game has similar interest in western markets, we could be seeing Rockstar level of opening numbers.

Physical copies arent as relevant as they were back when a gtav or rdr was released. Publishers would prefer to sell digital ao they limit shipment. Here in states you pretty much have to pre order physical copies in stores or theyll be hard to get on launch day

Calling them out won’t solve anything. Ignoring/blocking them will allow you to enjoy life without having to waste your time and effort.

Watching the Double Fine PsychOdyssey - and then also just happened to notice something from a trademark that Microsoft filed last year. Handful of salt as always, but this seems possible…

I think there’s a pretty good chance that we’ll eventually (my guess is either this year or next) see a production version of Kiln from the 2017 Amnesia Fortnight. Bing seems to agree with me… If so, I’m totally on board - it looked pretty cool, and with another couple of years to bake in the oven, it could be fun.

About the Gamepass cannibalize sales. I say to that so what? The 3rd party Devs that decide to put their game on Gamepass see the benefits. They also get paid handsomely, it not like they decide to put their Game on Gamepass for free. The concern over Sales and Gamepass is overblown.
