I thought influencers would have things a little early but be embargoed until when reviews release, then they would be out there hyping the product for folks to want to preorder the game to jump in day one.
At least thats my impression of how the influencers would be leveraged. Some titles had influencers able to show upto a certain point of the product weeks before release.
Influencer/streamer codes are almost always release day, because companies donāt trust them to not leak things . We rarely get codes before launch from SE, which as an Xbox site I figure is the norm. Still to see them so late for so many, and after playing that demo, Iām not confident on this one.
What was sticking out in my early morning mind was two titles as I dont particularly see influencer streams. So could have false perception of how it would work elsewhere.
First was The Cult of the Lamb, thinking it had somewhat of an earlier influencer cycle. Second was some fighting game, maybe Street Fighter series, where they had some showing off a new fighter here and there.
I could very well be mixing up āearly access gameā and specific ādemo programā for those.
You know, I donāt recall the Game Pass banner in the opening before trailer starts. This should be a norm, so a personās hype can engage right away and be amazed what theyāll get as a subscriber.
4 and 5 have great PC versions. I imagine a Gears Collection is getting 1 (on pc but rough, 2, and 3 onto PC. Kinda like how TLOU Part 1 was made in large part to get the game on PC
Kinda sad if true since i never liked Tomb Raider games and loved PD:Z, i just hope Tomb Raider comes as soon as possible (2024 please) and we can get next Perfect Dark by 2025
