There is definitely some sort of parity clause on Callisto. If the series x version doesn’t have reflections. Microsoft don’t have any shares in epic, so what sort of investment could it be.
Played Costillo Protocol for 2 hours on performance mode. Having fun and no issues so far. There was a 2-3 sec visual glitch in a cutscene but nothing other than that. I can see how the combat may become really annoying later on but it’s a 12-14 hour long game apparently so I doubt it’s going to annoy me.

Yes it’s sub-optimization on Xbox and PC too, and PS5 was the lead platform with repeatedly technical support from Sony.
They work closely all the time seeing as Windows is the biggest UE platform, they are also a major UE client for Epic. They virtually have a part of Epic’s UE department through Coalition lol

Yes Team Xbox went crazy in 2023 and made sure to get a lot of single player games into gamepass! I will try to play most of them
On that note I am really surprised that a vet team as you said made such a broken/unbalanced game in terms of difficulty/combat scenarios (gamesradar review and many others were really negative about this). Well I am downloading the game right now so tonight after the Xbox Two podcast I am diving in, hopefully I’ll enjoy this.
@BRiT They probably wanted the game out before Dead Space remake hits, they probably shouldn’t have bothered with the last gen versions and they should’ve focus on current gen and PC only. Hopefully they will address all the issues on PC and Xbox soon.

I’m a bit disappointed to read in the reviews that there’s such an emphasis on melee combat and the guns are not interesting. The variety and inventiveness of the guns in Dead Space was one of its main appeals.

I’m reading some PS5 users a few hours into the game and it crashing to the dashboard. If we look at all the issues, it’s clearly undercooked. Really indeed should have stayed in the oven longer.

It will be awkward to see journalists to accept Dead Space Remake with open arms, mainly Jez no offense, if it ends up being damn good. It’s going to be one tough pill to swallow.

I can’t wait to see Survivor! Stig is a very talented director and Respawn of course an amazing team as well, if Fallen Order was Respawn’s first attempt at the genre and was that good I believe that Survivor can turn out really amazing.
