Probably just the forums I already use lol. All I use Twitter for is following artists (who I follow on on other sites like pixiv anyway, though I guess now I won’t see their Splatoon clips, or what they pulled on their gachas today lol), and gaming news which I can probably still get from Gematsu or something. I would like to welcome back decentralized 00’s internet.

There is no real substitute. Cohost and Mastodon both suck. This is just sad and completely unnecessary.
If Elon was less a toxic shithead he would read The Mythical Man-Month (see above) instead of tweeting threats to his employees and let Twitter live.

Can someone please remind me how you hide all the Halo Forge related threads, e.g maps, modes, prefabs, models etc.

Probably just forums and Youtube. I will probably stop following certain news as I went to some news websites via twitter only but that’s basically it. There is certainly a trend on a decentralized solutions, but none of the existing platforms are convenient to use.
Because it is hard to build the community that would move to those website. It is like TikTok rise - it is hard to predict where the people will go.

Not sure if it’s because of sale or that glitch sale, but Forza Horizon 5 is now top 10 most played. Was there a new DLC I’m missing?

There has been some event recently or something. Maybe due to that glitch too but I doubt.
But the next Forza Horizon launch is gonna be enormous.
I see. I mean Halo Infinite beat Horizon 5 and was at 11, then a surge happened. I know Rainbow Six got a new event with Nier out of all things, so I can see how Halo went from 11 to 13.
Probably just a combination of FH5 being on sale + honey moon phase with the new Halo szn wearing off.
Player count usually stabilizes back to normal after a week or 2 with events unless the WOM reaches outside of the target audience.
It has been top 10 here since launch.
It’s very rare that I don’t see it in the most played list (UK), however I’m not surprised at all as it’s just pure fun. My daughter absolutely loves it too and normally she only plays Roblox or Mario Kart.

Yeah, it appeals to…pretty much everyone. It’s pure fun like you say. Definitely Xbox biggest pull factor game here, FH4 is also still very popular.

Where I am, Forza Horizon 5 is 4th, and FH4 is 15th in most played, Halo Infinite is like 20th or something.
Forza Horizon doesn’t even have localization. It’s very big just like that and MS don’t care to localize it or run regional marketing around it…
