He had an all-time choke against JJ Barea and the old men Mavs. This will always be the main argument against him for the GOAT conversation.
I think winning everywhere he played helps erase that a bit, but I do agree it’s a stain. However, I don’t think it tainted his image

Yeah, I always hate the idea that losing to a great team that makes it to the finals constitutes a “Choke Job”. The implication that you have to win everything all the time in the NBA or else you’re trash is one of the many reasons I cannot enjoy the sport.
I also don’t understand the obsession of the “Lebron vs Jordan” debate. Honestly, who actually cares? For years ESPN has been trotting that gem out to get morons to engage with their hosts/site.

Dirk was a beast. Game 1 vs OKC: 48 points, 12/15 FG, 24/24 FT. He carried this team so hard till the finals where he struggled a bit. The best Championship run in NBA history.
