Thing is, they are working on 5-6 projects at the same time. Now, I donât know how big and wealthy PCF are, but having a publisher helping you out is not a bad thing.
I guess, PCF seemed pretty happy with Outriders on GamePass.
Hope they do, similar to As Dusk Falls where they terminated their original publishing deal and XGS took over. PCF are a good team and I imagine the game would be well into development by now so XGS could possibly secure a 2024 game if they go for it.
I donât know that I agree with you here, as often the publisher makes decisions that equate to games being released before theyâre ready, being changed to something a developer may not have initially intended, canceling a project, wanting to own the IP, etc. It can most certainly be a bad thing (and also at times a good thing!).
I think they are around 500 people or something. I think Tencent will be involved one way or another.

They should get acquired by Xbox or release a second party game. They were helped by Game Pass, even though Square still screwed them.

Yes, but this whole âupgrade passâ is something that to me seems like a thing for someone who will play the game on Game Pass and buy this, same thing with the FH5 upgrade pass thing.

Anyone in the UK who has Sky TV thereâs a really cool documentary called GoldenEra which is all about Goldeneye, Rare and the impact the game had.
Funny at the beginning of it they talk about how DOOM and Wolfenstein had cornered the market on PC and how a console FPS just wouldnât be viable and now Xbox owns them all, lol.
Well worth a watch even if youâre not a huge Goldeneye, Rare, FPS fan.

They really donât want to make a new Ninja Gaiden game huh? who knows maybe itâs for the better that the IP is for now dead. Also besides Platinum I donât know who would be suitable to make a Ninja Gaiden gameâŚthere are not many choices for this kind of game anymore in terms of potential studios in general.
Nioh IP is most likely locked in the PS ecosystem, I guess thatâs why they decided to make a new IP like Wo Long in the style of NiohâŚso they can make it multiplatform (and also accept the Game Pass deal) and not be limited by the PS audience.

Makes me wonder if theyâre clearing stock and getting ready to launch a revamped controller in time for Christmas. There was that survey a while back, and Phil Spencer did say there were things about the PS5 controller that âwe should go do.â
