I know people think there is no cod competitor. But genuinely Titanfall 2 was the best shooter since bo2 imo. Itâs so good, I know respawn have apex but I hope they do a Titanfall 3
Id say Sony would be the more likely of the two but itâs not like MS donât do marketing deals
Plus if thereâs one game they would pay marketing for, whether it fits their GP agenda or not, itâs GTA
There was a thread on Era a couple of months back about Xbox working on a disc reader type thing, basically the same as this
You wonât be able to plug in some random reader but an xbox branded thing? I absolutely see it happening, it just makes sense
Digital is getting bigger and bigger and it makes sense for both MS and Sony to push it but they donât want to piss off people that still buy physically so why not have an external reader that people can buy separately if they truly want it while keeping costs down for everyone else
Plus with MS having pushed BC so hard the last half decade, telling everyone that their 360/XB1 discs are now pointless would be a bad look
Considering how well Souls-like games are doing on Xbox (plus the multiplayer component is a big bonus) I am pretty sure Wo Long will do great on Xbox/Game Pass.
The more niche nature of the game suits the subscription model and the overall big exposure of the game to people that may never thought of buying it makes total sense if you think about it. I predict that we are going to see more and more games from niche genres like character action, arcade racers & horror (The Callisto Protocol could have been a very good test) being available day one on Game Pass in the future.
If those genres find success via Game Pass, gain positive word of mouth (which is something we all know it happens) and end up influencing positively the sales on the other systems as well then it could end up being a win-win situation for the develpers and publishers.
With the risk of sounding like Don Mattrick⌠We have a product for that and itâs called the Series XâŚ

Iâm 90% sure they will have marketing deal since they made a big push to get marketing deal for GTA V next gen version. I donât think they want to lose having GTA associated with a brand again like they lost it with GTA IV.
Ah, well if that happens then yes a disc drive accessory could make sense.
I will use this spaxe to remind people No More Heroes 3 comes out on XSX 10th of next month. I completely forgot about that. Cant wait to play it at 60fps

NBC Universal seems to be circling Warner Brothers. The sale discussion canât begin until 2024 so hopefully Microsoft can distance themselves from the Activision deal and enter the future bidding war.
I have three embargoed videos hitting today. Funny how they lined up. One is 3am edt, one is 6am edt, and the last one is 9am edt today (the 20th).

BIG yikes about the account on Twitter âTheRealInsiderâ just a youtuber who broke NDAs lol goes to show the lengths some people go to for clout. I could leak NDA stuff too like what they leaked but what is the point of that.
