Huh?? OG and 360 games were the least problematic titles when it comes to DRM and offline, they always worked for me just fine and easily. Iām pretty sure something is wrong in their assessment.
Ah this makes sense, the Game Pass games. But those ARE the games I mostly play nowadays, hahaha.
Never mind. Heās just stating the OG/360 discs not being playable without downloading the BC game, because yeah thatās always understood to be the case as Xbox isnāt actually able to emulate those games off the disc, the disc is just a licence.
But it is great to hear that they fixed the problem with cross-gen discs requiring config files.

Game Pass games can work offlineā¦ sometimes. I havenāt been able to be sure, but what Iām sure of is of you go offline while a GP game is on then it stays on unless you quit it or shut down your console then youāre gonna need to reconnect to verify, unless you use standby mode that way it still remains on.

So basically this should mean that if I go offline and i try to play a game I bought (even with game sharing enabled via My home Xbox) it should work?
Because in the past when there was a connection down time on Xbox I wasnāt able to play RDR2, because I bought it but my brother has my Xbox set to his āmy home Xbox.ā wouldnāt I still need to set my own Xbox back to āmy home Xboxā?

Iām honestly wishing them all the best moving forward, even though Iām not into their gameplay style anymore. That being said, I would be surprised if a leak with such amplitude has no impact on their development. I would not be suprised if there is still a delay down the line, and they said that to not worry the shareholders.
May they take their time, NOT CRUNCH, treat their employees well, and it will be fine. Fans of Rockstarās games are good at waiting.

Yes. This is what I did with Halo Infinite campaign but it didnāt work with Gears Tactics. I had to stay connected online when playing Tactics.
I mean of course they wouldnāt say it has set them back big time, but it does sound like real damage has been avoided and that a big delay is not necessarily on the cards.
They do say they will update us soon. Xbox soon orā¦?

So theyāre gonna be looking into the complaint about the obscured background visibility, and theyāre also gonna keep pins but in a new way, cool because that feature is important to me, and also it seems the reimagined scroll down pages are gonna be reorderable like it currently is.
