I trust Square to do the most stupid shit possible. That would be a Crisis Core Pocket Edition for Playstation, Xbox, Switch and iOS.

But I hope its FF7R for Xbox. I personally have not a lot of interest in an episodic format spanning decades but lots of you are waiting for it. I keep my fingers crossed for you.

The way I see it, Sony should low-key WANT and be ok with FF7R to come to Xbox/Switch, get the game to have more players and fans on those platforms, and then when they announce FF7R P2 as exclusive they could get more people to get a PS5 to play it :doge:

I donā€™t even care about the game per se - just want a good meltdown on Playstation side. North remembersā€¦Currently Playstation is detrimental to the greater gaming anyway.

I think there is a potential of Part 2 being multiplat. I see not a single reason for Square Enix to keep FF exclusive on Playstation at all.

Then again, we saw that FF7R lost the ā€œconsole exclusiveā€ tag on the PS Store, much like Persona I think, so who knows.

Reason is them just liking upfront and safe money. Company overall makes questionable financial decisions.

Bugsnax defined the PS5 launch so losing that exclusive hurts the perception that only PS5 is able to run that game :phil_lmao:

I donā€™t think FF7R Part 2 will be a timed exclusive, all those 1st party GAAS games probably cost a lot of money. :stuck_out_tongue:

A 10 minute presentation is enough to announce that Part 2 is multiplat and Part 1 is releasing on Xbox soon. :philwins:
