This appears to be quite an old article but atleast theyāve been clear how theyāve manipulated the information/data (Itās done on hours played, rather than number of players).
Even if a PS exclusive did do 15+ Million copies Itās unlikely it would reach the top of that list as they are typically quite short games.
I do find it ironic that a Ubisoft game is at number 5 though, especially when I keep being told on this forum that nobody cares about Ubisoft games

I am not sure about ānobody caresā however I donāt consider Ubisoft a good acquisition and I donāt see Microsoft going after them. Period.

Yet somehow if you listen to gaming discourse, MS is the one most famous for using CGI trailers. Weird how that happened. But yeah Killzone 2 was the poster child for the term ālooks arenāt everything.ā

Working on a review of Arcade Paradise which releases August 11th. Should be working on Tribes of Midgard with the crew soon, that one releases August 16th. Far Cry 5 review will be up early next week and Mass Effect Legendary Edition maybe a week and a half (or two?) after. The release drought is almost over! Oh yeah, Cult of the Lumb should hit soon, mama mia!

I will be playing the Xuan Yuan Sword 7 game after Sword and Fairy so Iāll let you know how it is once I actually start playing it. Probably mid to late August.

First thoughts on Xenoblade:
Gameplay: seems to be a combination between 1 and 2 I dig it but prefer Xeno 2
Story: Dark, mysterious, and a lot questions that need to be answered and I am ready to find out I am hooked weāll see where it goes!
Characters: Like them a lot way more charismatic and human than xeno 1 also no anime cliches.
Soundtrack: so far good but I expected more, hope it gets better
Graphics: good I liked the effects in 2 more tho.
I had an issue with an adhesive pad inside the trigger coming loose and making the trigger stick for a while but it fell into another area and hasnāt been an issue for most of a year now. Was going to take it apart to remove/reseat it but havenāt bothered
Just finished A Plague Tale.
I gotta say, that tech where they are able to have so insanely many rats on screen is fantastic, looks awesome. Especially during the final fight.
They put out one hell of a experience with this game. The atmosphere is great, interesting story, dynamic between the characters is on point, the gameplay for me sometimes got a bit repetitive but it never hurt the experience for me. Love the music.
As for the final bit where I saw people talking a bit negatively about, I get it, but once you know what to do itās not that hard.

At some point in the story Hugo gets the blue elixir, shouldnāt this have stopped the spread of what was in his body? It is after this that he gets captured and they take his blood, but itās not to the full effect. How did Vitalis get Hugo to become as powerful as he becomes?
Now I really look forward to Requiem. Hope they have some new stuff in the gameplay, combat especially. I donāt expect that Amicia can all of a sudden use guns, but something. I really hope they donāt use whatever they used on XSX and PS5 to make it look significantly more blurry compared to One X, that would suck big time, but itās probably fine.
And please, just let it come out in October.
But yes, fully understand why people want Asobo so badly at Xbox. Before this and MSFS I had never heard of them and this put them on the map.

Watched the trailer of A Plague Tale Requiem again and a minute or so from the extended gameplay video. I donāt need to see 12 minutes, because I find that just too spoilerly for a game like this. Plus, going in fresh is always better. But boy does it look good.
I think these people could make a great Tomb Raider game, if they wanted.
