If they had a story as good as RDR2’s I’d be happy if they went that route, but I’d generally be more interested in seeing them stick to a lighter tone. I’d rather see another GTAV than a GTAIV, basically.

Rockstar deserves all the praise it got for RDR 2. Those graphics alone man, it puts plenty of current gen games to shame. The fact that Rockstar managed to get this game native 4K on One X and a fully stable 30fps is just incredible.
yup . They managed to make a game with 5k+ devs . No other company can do this shit .

If you have deadlines, crunch becomes inevitable. It might not happen on the first deadline or second but it will eventually happen.
I know. Just wanted to know if it did. I remember thinking, “How could you have crunch when you have this many developers.”

There’s a lot of people, myself included that critisizes Rockstar for their output since GTA 5, but RDR 2 came out five years after GTA 5 and that’s really not too bad at all. Development on RDR2 probably started even before that though.
I will always say that I believe if GTAO hadn’t been such a huge success we would have had another (somewhat smaller maybe) game in between RDR 2 and GTA 6, but the time between GTA 5 and RDR 2 really isn’t that bad. GTA 6 however is where we’re gonna see a significant longer gap with rumors saying 2024 or even 2025.
With that in mind I don’t think Rockstar is following Strauss Zelnick’s wish of making smaller games. I can’t imagine 6 being any smaller than 5 or RDR 2 with such a long development time and that many employees too.

Will finally be able to watch the entire final season of Ozark once Part Two releases at the end of the month.
There is nothing remotely “cartoony” about GTAV’s graphics.
Grubb said there’s multiple names throwing out there for acquisition but in the end of the day, they don’t know. The acquisition is tight closed door stuff. Basically, it could happen, it could not. Just wait and see whenever it comes.
The way Mike said it I have a feeling it might be Kojima, he said it would be kinda big but not shocking or surprising, they don’t think it’s Konami, so maybe even Square or Capcom.
It’s best to go as normal and whatever happens, happens. I mean we have known that feeling with Xbox, so maybe we can do the same with PS. Wait and see. I’ll move on starting now.
I would only be sad about Square because of Tomb Raider and Deus Ex, would be the first studio purchase from Sony that would actually affect me.
