How long has this been in development?
The remake of TLOU looks great and it makes me still hope for Halo 3 Anniversary by Saber and Blur to be announced for the 15th anniversary.
I wouldn’t be surprised to see Diablo 2 Resurrected and Diablo 3 Eternal Collection get announced for Game Pass on Sunday especially if Diablo IV shows up and is day one on Game Pass which it should be.
Yeah, Microsoft would be freaking morons to not make the franchise exclusive once contracts are wrapped up.
For me, it will be four times. One of my most replayed games. Plus, it’s a remake only on PS5. No cross-gen PS4 shit. September is the new February for me. TLOUR, Steel Rising and Evil West.
Not me. I love my PS5 and Series X. If other people want to do that stupid shit, that’s up to them.
If ABK is closed before Diablo 4 it will definitely be on Game Pass.

The first game had a Remaster iirc, but not a Remake. But a freaking remake for this sounds just way, way too soon. Even if it’s plenty of years ago now.
But it sounds like a complete overhaul, I’m surprised it truly is coming this year. But then again, I don’t know for how long it has been in development.

No. A remaster is not the same thing as a remake. Remaster is basically just increasing the resolution and some minor visual improvements. A remake is where the game is redone from the ground up like Resident Evil 2/3/4 which is why im excited for TLOUR plus it can make up for the disappointment of TLOUP2.

ah I didn’t know it was a remaster for the first one, still bit weird having both in a very short span. $70 for it is crazy to me also.

Okay. I just watched the trailer for TLOUR. That shit does NOT look like it was built from the ground up for PS5 and it appears to play exactly the same. I’m expecting it to play like TLOUP2 where it has the extreme melee combat/brutality/laying prone, etc. This can go either way for me. With Steel Rising on September 10th and Evil West on September 20th, I can easily skip TLOUR if needed. Just need Plague Tale Requiem for mid-August and TLOUR will be skipped.

Xbox youtube account has a very peculiar relation with japanese games. They either don’t upload trailers or do it later (at best)
Well allegedly all the cutscenes now rendered in runtime rather tha pre-rendered on PS4/PS3. And lighting has changed.

Honestly, that’s not enough. Is the combat still the same as the original or is it like TLOUP2? If it’s not identical to Part 2 then I don’t see the point. And visually, im not impressed. Will rewatch it later in 4K but right now, meh.
They really charging $70 for that?
