what? it just means that the game potentially launches in Steam (there was a rumor and leaked image). Probably ABK wants to make COD as big as possible this year (due to it being MW2 and launch on every store - aside EGS)

Activision was going greed as fuck as EA when they ditched steam for their own launcher, either they failed it so hard it wasn’t worth anymore or they are already making the transition as all Xbox games are on Steam.

I get what you mean but putting a series on Game Pass (assuming Persona 3 & 4 come on Game Pass too) could be a smart thing and may create a fanbase like Yakuza did.

If you think about it putting a game like Persona 5 on Game Pass is way better than putting your game on the Xbox store without any marketing (like what Capcom did with the Ace Attorney Trilogy), seeing it bomb and then deciding that it’s not worth it to support the platform with any future releases. The discoverability and free marketing that Game Pass provides can only help cases like those.

I agree with you. Im still in the belief that we will never get persona or ff7 remake on xbox. Highly unlikely. Ff7 remake probbaly more likley because its square enix

Persona they absolutely should spend money on just like they did Yakuza

Xbox hasn’t gotten mainline entries, its basically the same situation as yakuza and getting those on xbox/gp was a big success

FF7 is debatable because as much as some people want it, the sequel will inevitably be moneyhatted by Sony and FF16 is also exclusive, you get 7R on GP and then what? be forced to wait years, if ever for more FF?

whereas Persona they could bring 3 and 4, maybe 5 too and then have 6 launch on all platforms Day 1

I think it’s fine and shows that the story starts right after the Trespasser DLC with Solas as the main plot/character.

NGB was my first xbox game and one of my all time fav games. Even goday the combat is unsurpassed. Game was way ahead of its time
