Hah! What do you know… an anime I’ve actually watched and enjoyed.
Question: At what point you start to believe Xbox is taking gaming serious? I know Xbox One launch made everyone think they’re no longer into core gaming, so what point made you think “Oh yeah. Xbox is done toying around.”
2017-2018 and Bethesda and activision deal
After the announcement from Satya I guess
I never stopped believing!
Thank you. I made a purchase.
Also Ghost in the Shell, Jin Roh, hell even Cowboy Bebop, though subtle…
When they bought Bethesda. That was a real holy shit moment. Especially since it was announced just before Series X/S pre orders went live!
so weird I go on twitter and I see gamepass is trending because some journalists unsubscribed. I do understand complain about lack of new AAA games, but its been pretty dry in general after elden ring release.
I just love how they present it as some important announcement. “Look at me everyone, I’m unsubscribing to a service” , do they also Tweet when they’re about to put on their shoes, take a piss? People are so damn desperate for clout these days, screaming for attention like little kids.
Well, if there’s anything I learn from 2018 tiktok, it’s clout means the world to them.
Ooof. There goes those higher than usual scores for sony games…
- E3 2018 acquisitions.
- Xbox Series X console specs in Spring 2020.
- Bethesda acquisition.
I hear ya, just thought it was weird twitter had it as hot topic which made it gain traction. I feel its nature of subscription services where there could be a down month or 2, but felt twitter algorithm made it a hot topic.
Don’t know if anyone posted this yet. But wow, just imagine what cyberpunk could have been if it was on UE5.
Theyll subscribe again. A lot of tools on twitter used that gold conversion trick to get 3 years for like 140 bucks or something and they have the gaul to say they want to unsubscribe.

The 2018/19 acquisitions looked serious but it didn’t seem enough because most the studios were struggling and therefore cheap, just my thinking back then. But once Bethesda happened, once I realized Arkane was gonna be an Xbox studio, something that was one of those unrealistic dreams in my mind… Yeah, I believed.
Not much different from what we got? (I mean bugs aside)
The most useful thing cyberpunk could get from UE5 is the Nanite tech
Pop in is the only flaw I find in that game which makes it unappealing to me
Imagine letting a western studio work on Final Fantasy. Huff.
