What signs are pointing to it being xbox exclusive?
Is this game supposed to be more outlast/amnesia? Or resident evil/condemned?

Hmm, more like the latter because you do have a gun but apparently ammo is very low.
Its crazy how well its doing in Japan. I wonder if they should have more series x in stock there
gotcha, I think its best to temper expectations on that end because it could lead to disappointment.

This is why I disagree that Sony will lock down the lion’s share of JP games for their sub service. The last few years have shown they don’t care at all about that market, and only care about JP games with severe Western influence (Resident Evil, lately Final Fantasy has been too).
You’ll not see a game like Scarlet Nexus at a big Sony showcase, you couldn’t even see Yakuza at one when they had that exclusive.
It is also important to mention that you still need to pay for Geforce Now to access the game, something that is completely free on Xbox Cloud gaming.

Gefore Now has a free 1 hour a day, could be enough for a couple of games
But I doubt Gefore Now has the touch controls like xCloud which makes like the phone app
