IGN says FF16 is almost completed. Brian Altano in IGN Daily Fix.

Probably will tank their stocks.

That’s why Microsoft should aim at complete global saturation with Series S :fire: PC releases, XCloud, cheap console that easy to produce.

Probably 2023 release unless it coming out earlier than Forspoken. I bet Square Enix is not happy that they could not ask Sony for more money on FF16 exclusivity considering the current situation :joy:

I mean there’s a reason they delayed their earnings call the results probably aren’t good.

But delay would not help as they would have to report up until April anyway. They cannot extend the quarter.

That’s why people are speculation why did Sony delay the report and think of an acquisition or something.

That’s true but they are delaying their stock tanking and maybe want to make an announcement of some sort to reassure investors.

A while ago I posted about my excitement for this. Namely for Cotton 2 and Cotton Boomerang coming to Xbox… Well since then all the other platform versions have released and the games were patched to fix the input delay issues since Feb… The Xbox version still says ā€œcoming soonā€ and only a vague message at the bottom that says ā€œNews on the Xbox One version will be delivered at a later dateā€.

I hope it hasn’t been silently cancelled.

This is from the same publisher and released the same day as the other platform versions, just came out last week.

Yeah I have to agree… These are obviously people who doesn’t know the most basic things, why listen to them about anything at all? They are probably equally clueless about most things. Sounds like a complete waste of time. ā€œBut I like the castā€¦ā€ Why, @Sulley ? Do you enjoy watching dumb people like some sort of freakshow? I just can’t wrap my head around the reasoning behind continuing to give mouthbreathers attention.

That’s how I think too, the second I hear an uninformed take from people that SHOULD know better, I’m just ignoring their existence.

I have just settled into most people (including those with a platform) being less informed than folks on this (and other) forums. That is including Xbox centric folks as well.

At some point you listen to them either because they have insider information or because you like the personality. If they don’t hit either of those I’m not listening.

Interesting. MS needs to find a way to keep a game on the Cloud even after it leaves Game Pass. Biggest problem with Xcloud at the moment. All that work will end up being for naught when Scarlet Nexus leaves Game Pass.

Yep, Phil said they’re working towards that.

Exactly.

As for the being less informed than others, that’s entirely fine provided they have the ability to recognize their own limitations. They need to say ā€œI don’t knowā€ or ā€œI’m not sureā€ or instead of simply making stuff up or falling back on behavior that was questionable even in 2013-2017.

I listen to people where I can learn things, either new information or interesting perspectives. I don’t have to agree with everything but it is often very clear if a person knows their shit or not. I expect a basic understanding of whatever subject is discussed.

The past few years I’ve had to cut so many podcasts, websites, inFluEnceRs etc. out of my flow due to the lack of both. A likeable personality quickly becomes unlikeable when you are dumb, at least for me.

Eh its not a terrible amount of work involved and the benefits surely exceed the time invested even if its only up for a year. Still would prefer purchased games to be streamable or use the overlay for remote play too

I watch them because I do like the personalities and I like having some kind of gaming related podcast in my lineup. I don’t agree with everything they say, and that’s fine. I’m personally not a big fan of any platform-specific podcast, you can argue that Spawncast is a PS/Nintendo one, but usually when talking about third party stuff they’re pretty chill, and I just ignore any of the extreme fanboys there like PlayerEssence and DreamcastGuy.

I looked forward to yesterday’s podcast because I saw that NateTheHate or ā€œNateDrakeā€ was on it. He is usually pretty knowledgeable about Xbox, and I thought he would provide a bit more pushback against the rampart misinformation in yesterday’s show. Unfortunately, I was wrong. I hope in the future that they bring on someone more knowledgeable like Rand onto the show for any Xbox news. They usually bring him on for any major Xbox news, but I guess he wasn’t invited yesterday or wasn’t available.

Most of these podcasts are just ran by sony fanboys who are completely delusional, just like the mainstream gaming media. They’re triggered because 2023 Xbox would represent most of the best of E3 show

I don’t know Nate very well, only from some tweets and comments and usually they are just normal and positive and he seems to know what he’s talking about. He forgot that last year was one big show as well, it happens, we’re human but unless he truly has some knowledge of what Xbox is planning on showing or not…I’m not that interested. I’m kind of 50/50 on it anyway. Rather not have the whole show spoiled, but I would not mind at least knowing if Avowed is there, to name one.

We are a little more than a month away from the show. Last year Nate doubled down on Avowed being there and it wasn’t. It seems very clear he has no idea (yet maybe) what’s on the menu.

Jez saind on the podcast that Grubb might leak some games before the show. I trust Grubb better.

I honestly don’t care about ā€œleaksā€ or rumours this time around, it’s mostly either complete bs or unnecessary shit. I’ve said it before but I’m very tired of the rumour business that much of the ā€œnewsā€ has become centered around. I much prefer discussing actual news, information, games etc.
