Is the French government going to block MS when they acquire Ubi?
Realistically, I don’t really expect anything to change on Twitter.
People will be able to say offensive things more often? It happens already. Twitter has been struggling with that for years and has barely made much headway in fixing things.
Twitter will push bullshit like crypto more under Elon? Twitter has been very pro crypto and probably would’ve continued to push for it and push crypto related topics to trending more often regardless.
At most, I expect things to probably just get slightly worse than they already are, and given things aren’t great to begin with (like on just about every social media platform), yeah that’s not really saying much.
Nonetheless my Twitter feed has been cultivated to just show either game news (which I really just use Gematsu for) or anime art, so my personal experience should stay untouched I think.

The people affected by this mostly are the ones that follow politics on twitter, and no sane person should do that.

With the formation of Microsoft Gaming, I wonder if the way they report numbers change. We will see tomorrow I guess?

Hearing Jez reaction’s to Rand’s idea of two showcases, I think we should expect two showcases at this point - one for Xbox and one for Bethesda.
I still want something like Microsoft Gaming Week with E3, Bethesda, Activision, Blizzard, Minecon, QuakeCon etc.
No. I’m 99.99% that’s not gonna be the case. Bethesda get their separate showcase with QuakeCon

But QuakeCon is a different thing though. Just like BlizzCon, and we had Diablo 2 remake trailer on E3. If they have so much content - they should do two shows. Maybe in the future they will be able spread the announcements during the year. Who knows?
It would be fascinating to see Xbox/PC/Steam/XCloud during Bethesda showcase on most of the games.

Honestly, they could do a full month, or just spread out shows.
Idk, I feel like doing everything in a week time frame might be actual hell for some of the MS Gaming leadership.

We potentially have Avowed, Forza Motorsport, Halo (potentially campaign, multiplayer updates and of course Battle Royale mode), Contraband blowouts. No place for other announcements if Bethesda included. I can see Xbox E3 ending with Starfield trailer (similar to Skyrim one) with Bethesda showcase coming next day or during the same week.
I just don’t see how can they fit all of it in the same show. I understand the desire for “best E3 ever”, but there is a reality.
