Iām sorry to attack āour sideā but Iām getting quite annoyed with some of these JRPG focused Xbox accounts on Twitter saying SMT Vās 1M sales is not impressive/underwhelming because āthereās 100M Switchesā and āshould have been multiplatā. Thereās no need of this!
Same accounts were praising Scarlet Nexus which soldā¦ 1M. On more platforms.
Like I saw someone say it would have sold Monster Hunter World numbers as a multplatā¦ Wuhhhhh???
Do these people not get that marketing is far far more important than how many platforms itās on? SMT V is this successful because Nintendo marketed it very well which may have not happened as a multplat. Now Atlus is marketing Soul Hackers 2 themselves (MS should pick this up) and it may not even sell as well as the single platform game!

It isnt also the best SMT sold to date? I recall seeing data from SMT IV that put it at 600 k.
And yeah if SH 2 reach half of that it will be a miracle 
they should put it on gamepass honestly.
Thatās right SMT IV sold 600k in 2 years and SMT V sold 1M in 6 months (which is faster than Scarlet Nexus did and with much less discounts. Scarlet was actually quickly in the bargain bin.)
SH2 is out in 4 months. By this point in SMT Vās life it was already on multiple directs including E3 and even had Nintendo Treehouse demo it at E3. All SH2 has is JP only daily videos that get 10k views.
I hope this appears at Xbox āE3ā with a new gameplay trailer because it needs eyes on it. 1M people played Scarlet Nexus on Game Pass so hopefully MS gets their eyes on this and a good number of them buy it. I highly doubt it hits GP day 1.
You canāt even pre order it yet. SMT V was available for pre order by now.

Why Live action ? Animated would have been a much better choice . This just feels like they are trying to imitate Sonic or Detective Pikachuās success .

The thing is 1M for exclusive Switch game that is not the first installment, on the install base of 80m is not much (wthi Nintendo marketing on it no less). Maybe in its niche it is big.
Scarlet Nexus is a new IP that got 1m on three platforms. But it just shows how niche such games are if getting 1m from PS4/XBO/PS4/XS/PC install base (with some intersection of course) is considering a good thing.
I am curious how Crazy Taxi would work, but JSR I can imagine.
But chasing Fortniteā¦Imagine Crazy Taxi where your passenger is for example Ryu or Spider-man With KFC or Burger King ads around

It always kind of has been but nothing to what it can be with MS backing
It would be neat if Microsoft could kinda combine all these announcements for WoW, COD, Minecraft into a single show.
How can a show be as good as Better Call Saul? These two new episodes are already incredible!
This show does literally everything right. Writing, visuals, acting, an insanely suspensful story even though itās a Prequel and it has propably the best TV villian of all time with Lalo.
I will miss this so much once this Season ends, I donāt want the Breaking Bad Universe to end!

BCS is amazing indeed. And like you said, a prequel, you wouldnāt think it would be this good.
Vince has said heās not sure if he will make another BB spin-off and that his next show will be something completely different.
