Witcher 3 might have the best legs for a single player game in modern day video game history
Cyberpunk fell off a damn cliff though, think it sold 13M in the first week lol.

What are all these rumours Iām reading that Sony bought Kojima Productions?
Donāt worry about it.
Itās more of clarification on Xbox and Kojima during the whole rumor mill of Kojima acquisition trend. As of recent, itās still going on. If thereās a acquisition from PS, itās likely the Xbox game to happen still but after that, no more. Of course, everything has to be confirmed first and foremost.
desperation for an acquisition with brand value
Id really love to know what Skyrim has sold at this point
Todd corrected Ryan in his interview when he said over 30 million and told it was wayyy above that, wonder if it could have reached 50 million at this point
Cyberpunk 2077 selling 6m copies in the last 15 months is still good considering the launch was a clusterfuck. Plus, itās at a much higher pace than The Witcher 3.
The game would be huge if launched without issues.
Still that shows how important marketing is.
Closer to 4m and they expected to sell 30M within 12 months so itās pretty bad tbh. Small picture wise, itās impressive but bigger picture wise, a dud.
Bandai did an amazing job with CP2077 and Elden Ring, give the staff 100% increase in bonuses !
Oh! Bamco published both?
Itās all based off a PS studios banner thing where it has all their games like the Xbox banner, but it has Death stranding so people are stretching and saying Sony bought them.
For Europe, yes. I just found out now.
Iāll definitely listen to this when it drops. Geoff is generally entertaining, and Reggie impressed me when he hosted that Xbox roundtable a few months ago, so I think this conversation could be worthwhile.
Damn, Microsoft should take the notes
I wouldnāt have thought it but so far this gen Bandai is my favorite publisher that isnāt Xbox and right now Bandai might be ahead in my mind. Tales of Arise, Scarlet Nexus and Elden Ring are three of my favorite games so far on my series X
Perhaps but I saw a list of RPGās with TW3 being #1, Skyrim #2, Horizon Zero Dawn being #3 at 20m and Cyberpunk being #4 at 18m. Itās definitely getting to #3 and since Skyrim is #2 behind TW3 and itās been over a decade, letās say CDPR only sells 2m more for the rest of 2022. Thatās 10m a year on average. Itās a far greater pace and if even if it drops to half that, it will still surpass every one of those games ahead of it.
WB published Cyberpunk in NA.
I really need to dig into ToA; Iāve loved the Tales series since Tales of Phantasia way back in the day. I bought Arise day one but got sidetracked by all the other games that came out at the same time. Likewise, the same thing happened with Scarlet Nexus; I played a bit more of that and was turned off by the infrequency of actual gameplayā¦
Bamco really has been one of the most-ignored but most-consistent publishers out there. Iām a huge Sekiro fan but itās easy to argue that Fromās best work has been their content under Bamco.
Side note: I love Naruto as well, so I may be a bit biased on that front.
I do not think TW3 is higher than Skyrim. Skyrim announced 30m sales in 2016, and to this day it has more players than TW3 in Steam (according to SteamDB), and higher on the most played list on Xbox, despite being a 2011 game
