It’s like they want to help the ActiBlizz acquisition.
“Go on Xbox, I’ll show them that there’s plenty of competition.”

“Go on Xbox, I’ll show them that there’s plenty of competition.”
I really don’t understand what their end goal is.
Money
How? Even if they are making the slimmest net profit, they keep spending it all on more acquisitions. And furthermore most of the studios they have are small indie developers most people in here couldn’t even name let alone know what games they make. And the games they do make are mostly duds, if Elex ll is an example of the future of Embracer, then holy shit it’s only a matter of time before they either merge studios together or start closing.
Hoping for that Microsoft Money Acquisition…
Eh looks like that ABK deal broke him.
Wait, actually …NOOOOOOOOOO!!!
True, because owning a publisher will provide some insurance to the gamers that japanese games are coming to Xbox (without endless speculations whether the game skips platform or not).
Also various small japanse studios are less likely to ignore Xbox too, knowing that it is has solid ground there.
Any Genshin Impact, Minecraft, Roblox or Fortnite game can bring billions. More studios you have - more chances to get that. You don’t know what game might become extremely popular.
Give them time and they will uprise.
Instanced is right, while you can see all the houses in the world, going into every house opens a loading screen. Some of those houses are even just a portal in the world to travel to another instanced location.
One way would be to start putting all the games on game pass, that’s an extra bag a money, they can get after the initial hype for a games launch dies down. Which should get people talking about the game again and lead to more sales from game pass subscribers that don’t generally buy the type of games they make.
It would be funny if xbox bought embracer after activision
Show some evidence supporting this claim please. Public data seems to directly (and decisively) contradict it, as does the fact that 3P pubs are constantly praising the service for how it helped their games reach more players.
Don’t have to be a Game Pass member to spend more money into the eco-system. For example, excluding the Xbox Series X console which cost me $800 via a GameStop bundle, I have spent $610 on digital purchases, $300 on disc based games for this generation only. I also have spent $80 for The Division 2 and about $75 total for Assassin’s Creed Origins Gold Edition, Assassin’s Creed Odyssey Gold Edition, Tomb Raider Definitive Edition, Rise of the Tomb Raider, The Witcher 2, The Witcher 3 complete edition and Ghost Recon Wildlands. Total is $1065. Plus, $20 for Game Pass monthly rentals for Gears Tactics and Halo Infinite.
Because im basically saving $50 from not having to buy Microsoft’s first party games for each one I complete, im much more willing to put that money back into the Xbox eco-system since it is my primary gaming console for this generation. Granted, all of my purchases are third party games but Microsoft still gets their 30% cut which if it wasn’t for Game Pass, they wouldn’t be getting at all because it’s one of the main reasons I switched from PS4 to XSX as my primary gaming console instead of just staying with PS5.
For comparison, I have spent $210 on digital purchases for PS5 including $100 that are deemed as a monetary loss due to the fact that im never beating two games so they’re losses. Disc based purchases is $120. Total is $330. I have spent more than double the money in the Xbox eco-system and have already surpassed and blown away the few hundred dollars I spent in the Xbox One eco-system/generation.
Also, while this has already been included in my digital purchases listed above, I had Game Pass when Outriders and The Ascent released. Played a few hours and loved both games so I decided to buy them.
Seeing as how someone like me who isn’t regularly subscribed to Game Pass has spent more money in the eco-system, it definitely makes a lot of sense for those who stick mainly with only Game Pass to spend more money due to the amount of money that they’re saving.
Nice work. Now we await for digital.
Yeah, digital is one that we should care at this point. 51/26/23 physical split seems to be pretty much just like usual.
I’m just out here in the praire watching raccoons eat watching though my binoculars. In RDR2, it’s like a nature documentary. These eating animations of the wildlife have no right looking this realistic.
Wow,…this game man.
Best game ever.
