Ohohoho Welfare on otherera notice something really interesting:
Japan remains one of the most important and fastest-growing markets for Xbox worldwide.
“One” of the fastest growing markets. It was THE fastest before, wonder what other markets Xbox is seeing growth.
My bet is on Latin America, when Aaron came here to Bogota-Colombia he said something along the lines of not being able to fully comit to xcloud in the region as the demand of Xbox is enormous (and I could even say they have the potential to reach and surpass their xbox 360 status they once had…at least in Colombia, series s/x are selling really well)
That would make sense as both Nintendo and PS prices are completely prohibitive to the average person, even more so with the economic crisis we are facing/ will be facing.
Also its all but confirmed that Phil is a lurker!!! So if you are seeing this Phil, please tell the team to fix the Gamepass PC app I fully believe its not late for it!! and buy SEGA please :3
The quality is down because they make like 5 games at once (so they can pay the bills) which stretches their resources thin they also have strict deadlines which they’ve been failing to keep up with (B3). Under Microsoft, they would be able to make one game at a time and be financially secure and get support from the other Xbox studios including Tango.
Seems like something smart to get on game pass (as much as I “hate” saying that phrase)
-Big bolster for JP content on game pass (now that’s something good for Xbox Wire Japan’s first blog post)
-Souls is hot right now again with Elden Ring. ER was unrealistic for GP however.
-“Damages” Sony’s attempt to make Final Fantasy = Playstation
-Coop stuff including (according to the trailer) endgame “raids” that are designed for coop play (and GP launch games always seem to lean towards coop)
-People are skeptical on it (I think it looks good and felt the demo was fine other than the abysmal performance which is hopefully fixed, but it seems to me like most are on the fence)
-Doesn’t appear to have major (or any?) Sony marketing, so that pesky “No Game Pass for a year” contract probably isn’t in place
-It has a season pass so some GP subscribers will likely buy the DLC
I didn’t think it was this specifically. But that he had a condition I was aware of. I appreciate Satya a great deal. It’s because of him that people who can’t really use their hands can still enjoy this amazing hobby, or I should say passion even. Because of the things he managed to get done it’s possible for them to enjoy all the amazing games, escape from the real world for a while.
Well, I hope this will accelerate ATVI deal. Not to mention it adds it as Prime benefit, which immediately provides access to Amazon Prime subscribers.
