Interesting. If they’re only getting Shadow Warrior 3 for around 4 months, then I don’t think we should expect any AAA day 1 games coming to the service.
We’ll need more examples to be sure, but at least right now it looks like they’re not willing to put a lot of investment into day 1 games.
Spartacus is probably going to be what it’s expected to be - a merging of PS Plus and PS Now and well, that’s it. My expectations are so low that it’s not even funny.
The guy liked it quite a bit. He never really could get into Borderlands 3 story wise and everything, same here. It felt too serious he finds and wasn’t nearly as funny as it used to be. This game does this really well, it’s never too serious. It’s light hearted, as was the Borderlands 2 expansion of this.
Massive bomb inbound, both in reviews (demo is TERRIBLE, as in, I think this will get a red metascore terrible) and sales.
This really pisses me off because the game looked pretty good here. This is NOTHING like the final product
The trash we got (it’s literally impossible to tell what the hell is going on)
“Hopefully” Square is to blame for this (it’s not like they don’t have a history of really bad releases like The Quiet Man or Left Alive) and it’s not Platinum losing their touch to this extent.
We talked so often about this , but he also makes some new points too. Good video. Three hour showcases are not sustainable, that’s for sure. Games need their own moment to shine. And I absolutely agree. They can have a Direct styled show of like 20 or 30 minutes, have updates on upcoming games and also a section on Game Pass. Game Pass is their future, so market it more, show these games and have people be “oh wow, I only pay this for all that?”.
I definitely see his point. This has to be next for Xbox.
