If anything it’s positive for EA.

What’s the TLDR on why Russia is doing what it’s doing?
Putin wants to rebuild the Russian Empire.
That means taking back countries/land that used to belong to the Soviet Union when back when.
Putin is pissed about all the NATO miltary bases that surround his country
Normally disagree with Hindle on impulse, but in this case they’re right. It’s equal measures “Putin dgaf about Pan Euro-security and stability because why not be aggressive” and “the West is surrounding Russia with Nato allies which is really not in the Russians’ best interest.” Plus the social strata of what parts of Ukraine are being occupied leans mostly pro-Russia so its a very interesting case-study in how ethno-diversity (or lack thereof) can shape global politics.
Also, I hope anybody on here (or in general) who’s Ukrainian and against this can or has already left the country and is safe somewhere else.
Edit: as of this posting, they are hearing shelling in Kiev (the Ukrainian capital) which is NOT part of the “contested zone”, so this is spiraling as we speak.

There might be a light at the end of the tunnel for console shortages we just had a 20+ hour stock window for the Series X, now if that’s gonna happen everywhere I don’t know but it was a good sign. There was a another wave recently that lasted a few hours too, both instances were only at one store though EB Games.
State of Play is the minor event. For it to be good, it has to be a PlayStation Showcase event.
It was September. That showcase was great for me personally. Gameplay trailer for GOWR, Spider Man 2 reveal (which we all knew was coming) but the big one for me was Wolverine and best of all, will be an M rated Wolverine. The Star Wars KOTOR Remake and Project Eve were added bonuses for me. Forspoken looked better here than it did in that 4 minute IGN trailer that was pulled.
If Henderson turns out to be right, that could be a very good showcase.

We’ll see, EA certainly profited from the official branding and steamrolled the old market leader, PES, mostly through licenses, becase the game was no better (until Konami went completely south in the last years). If the new UFL is good, while concurrently EA lose the licenses and the game keep being the same every year, they certainly become more vulnerable. At the same time FIFA is a despicable and corrupt entity, so it’s good they get no more money, which mostly go into executives walllets anyway.
I’m seeing so many of those comments ever since this has begun like last year, by both people in comments but also the media and world leaders like Boris Johnson, saying this could get as bas as 1945.
It’s not only USA that can do something, what if Germany, France etc decides to do something? I don’t know how these things work, I’ll admit that, but Putin said some scary stuff about Europe in general.
