The hardcore gaming community puts all exclusives way too high on a pedestal, it’s like if a game from Xbox|Nintendo|PlayStation releases it automatically gets reviewed in a different light.

Those exclusives sell consoles. sony and nintendo are proof of that. xbox not selling to many xbox ones is proof again of why they do matter,

Sometimes I say Holland, sometimes The Netherlands. Never knew saying Holland was wrong though.

Aye, I finished it last week! I actually really liked it. I had very low expectations so that might have helped I enjoyed the setting, really fascinated by the old “behind the iron curtain” aspect of eastern Europe. They kind of had me as soon as I arrived in Niwa…
Whilst it wasn’t scary, it was very creepy and disturbing with a good atmosphere. The story was good, and I liked the protagonist, I thought the VA was good and all the environmental storytelling added to the game -I read and look at everything hehe. Music and graphics were good too.
The gameplay was nothing special, even though I think the dual worlds worked great and was a nice feature. There was a few places where the walking was a bit slow, but I feel the game wouldn’t have worked as a rabbit-jumping-running around thing. The monster encounters where decent as it was important for the story, I feel it added a bit of uncertainty to it all which was nice. The only thing I would have wished for was a bit more difficult puzzles.
Overall I liked it enough to put Bloober on my “Wish Xbox spent money on these studios instead of Acti-Blizz”-list

Only in Nintendo’s situation is that true. Attach rate for PlayStation 1st party has gotten better but their stuff is nowhere near as popular as stuff like GTA V, call of duty, and apex legends.
PlayStation and Xbox sell because they are a good value entry into gaming.

Yeah I’m seeing plenty of differing opinions on this game. I think a game like The Evil Within 2 or Resident Evil with the story of The Medium would be amazing.
The game started off fine and I can enjoy other adventure games or walking simulators but for some reason it really started hampering by enjoyment after a while. But that story is really good, I liked the whole idea of the maw too.
If rumors are correct Bloober could be making one of the Silent Hill games, in that case they will likely have actual combat too.

In fact the UK has this issue where many people incorrectly call the UK, England. It is just a consequence of one region being dominate both economically and politically.

I really don’t need combat per se in these kind of games, I’d rather let my brain get some exercise tbh. More, and more difficult puzzles is what I’d add.
