Yeah, I have no idea how it runs on console still. Fortunately, I played the game at launch on my PC and had a largely excellent, relatively bug-free experience with a few occasional UI glitches. But console folks definitely got fucked over mad hard, I feel for yall.
But man, the game itself is fucking goooood. Don’t expect a GTA like sandbox and think of the city’s life outside quests as a backdrop and it’ll work. Admittedly, I do think it faltered in several places, but ultimately its strengths outweigh the weaknesses very much, imo.
I am just waiting for a goddamn NG+ mode already to get back to it, but they still haven’t added it smh. I get it, but still. Hopefully the next gen patch is coming real soon, along with some news on the expansion.
I’m sure there’s no artificial barrier MS have put for themselves to not release games in 1st half or not have shows outside of industry events. They just need their content lineup to be ready for it. There should be a time (starting 2023) where they have a lot of content ready to be shown or released how they see fit throughout the year. Anyone saying “why wait more” well maybe because they only started having a real 1st party in 2018? If you don’t want to wait that’s fine, it’s totally you’re right and your money and time. Just realize why things are the way they are and need time.
Yea that’s true… But the only reason I didn’t download the Hivebusters DLC because on steam you have to download the whole god-damn game. Weirdly on Gamepass I believe you can download it seperately.
CD Project Red are a through and through PC developer. Remember Witcher 2. How it brought GPUs to it knees. Surprising the Witcher 3 was pretty well optimized for consoles. But I feel like I will be playing once all the DLCs comes out. But my new GPU is making it really tempting for me to install and boot up the game in all its Raytracing glory.
yeaah I can see the very obvious PC centric nature of CDPR to a fault perhaps, and to the extent of actually fucking over their console base. Not at all cool. Prioritized investor appeal and holiday sales more than the health of the game itself. Singlehandedly destroyed their reputation in one fell swoop.
I played it on my 1060 and it was still drop dead gorgeous, but I’ve seen how good RT looks in videos, and daaaamn, definitely try that when you can make time for it.
That is true, with the exception of Dishonored. GamePlay was shown at E3 in 2009, released in 2012.
But Dishonored 2, Prey and Deathloop were all gameplay reveal and launch in the same year. Or maybe Deathloop had gameplay longer ago, not 100% sure. Ghostwire Tokyo started showing gameplay last year or was that also like 2020?

Every day you will be surprised that there are people who think that they are financial experts and planners for future strategies better then Microsoft . while the reality says that the Microsoft games department has become better than before, and their consoles sell more than previous generations
As you said, no matter what Microsoft does, you will find people complaining . And we are watching the same thing happens with Sony when they started releasing their games on PC

Haha. Me too!! Expecting it to be released in mid to late March as CDPR has their investor call or whatever it’s called later this month which is when im expecting their roadmap to be updated.
Metro Exodus is a great game and while I played it back at launch, you being able to play it with the current generation upgrade should make a great game even greater.
I played a few hours of RDR 2 and hated the combat/gameplay/control/restrictions/limitations so I dropped it. Sadly, every other element is said to be superb.
DMC 5 was the first game in the series that I played and loved it. I’m all in for DMC 6 when the time comes. lol
Gears 5: Hivebusters was great and more enjoyable than Gears 5 was for me. Hoping that after Gears 6, they do a new trilogy with the characters from Hivebusters and that it’s more structured live Hivebusters as the open areas don’t fit in my opinion.

Halo Infinite was my 2021 game of the year. Excellent game. Looking forward to the story expansion late 2022 or early 2023 which is when im expecting it.
God of War was my 2018 game of the year. Excellent game. Looking forward to Ragnarok.
No interest in Doom Eternal or Forza Horizon 5. I own Dishonored 2 and only played a few hours. I’m hoping for a current generation upgrade. Microsoft/Bethesda should be upgrading every game that was released for Xbox One in my opinion excluding remasters like the first Dishonored and whatnot. But new game releases like Dishonored 2, both TEW 1 and 2 as well as Dishonored DOTO should get upgrades and I don’t mean that FPS boost. Screw that, I want actual upgrades, damn it!!!
