Nintendo is indeed good with that. Out of the blue comes Xenoblade 3 and releases this September, assuming no delays of course.
I guess it’s possible XGS doesn’t have anything to show yet, but at the same time it wouldn’t surprise me if they do keep it all for the “E3” show.
Even if they DO have those SoT streams sometimes and FH5 was shown a lot too.

Bethesda’s marketing is consistent where they don’t show the game until its almost out, but nice try.

Metroid Dread was revealed and released in a similar cadence, in fact I think XC3 is announced much earlier. IMO the performance in the trailer looked rough, but maybe its the just the Switch running its course by now and well, the engine itself, but nothing signals a delay I feel.
I think a large part of the negativity being generated on this board is due to the first party drought. We’re probably going to get our exclusives in Q4 this year, and won’t hear about them until summer. I’m very patient, but I do think Microsoft is underdelivering compared to the competitors. There are very valid reasons for the games to take longer, but valid or not people will be upset. I think a Halo roadmap, and some sort of reveal outside of the usual MS showcases would go a long way with stemming the negativity.

Can you imagine starfield and refall being delayed? Xbox would have nothing for 2022. Honstly if they arn’t ready please do it but this again just shows xboxs inability to run its studios if they have so many and can’t release stuff on the regular
First Party aren’t the only games coming out/available on XBOX/PC as far as I know.

Arkane isn’t Bethesda Game Studios. I doubt literally every studio under Zenimax/Bethesda publishing has to follow the same marketing cadence that BGS does.
Also, this is a very different game compared to a traditional Bethesda game. Its structure and live component requires a longer stretch of marketing leading up to launch imo, something I’m not seeing for a game supposedly launching within the next 4-5 months.
It would be a shitstorm of hilarious proportions.

They did a cinematic reveal for the new Prey at e3 2016, and revealed gameplay 5-6 months before release.
