Pokemon Diamond and Pearl remakes selling 14m is heartbreaking. Just more proof TPC can throttle out any piece of mediocre garbage (worst remakes in the series) and sell insane cause Pokemon fans will buy it regardless.
Being a fan of Pokemon is just hell.

But IMO Legends Arceus deserves to sell what SwSh did (which in itself should have had no right to sell 20+ million) to signal them to truly continue evolving this franchise and not get stuck in a rut again. Even if there are issues with the game, Iād rather games like PLA sell and not bad-ok remakes doing those numbers instead. Iām having a lot of fun with the new direction, and there are already certain things I wish to never go back from after playing PLA.

I bought Diamond for my oldest son and he loves it. Far more than Shield. Guess for fans of the originals it is disheartening but for newbies to the game itās kinda fine?
Glad I was never a Nintendo/Pokemon (outside of collecting the cards as a kid) fan
They can pump out any old garbage and people eat it up, if any other company put out shit like that theyād get rightfully slaughtered
I mean if he has never played it sure its absolutely fine and Im sure they are great games. But for a veteran like me (since Yellow) seeing my favorite region get the short end of the stick remake wise and end up being just a 1 to 1 remaster was just a letdown particularly when there is a THIRD entry (Platinum) that improved those base games.

Itās a bit hard to tell, but are you putting Nintendo games (not Pokemon) under the āshit like thatā banner too? Because that crosses into ridiculous territory. Donāt act like Nintendo games donāt have an unprecedented amount of polish and fun factor (not EVERY single release they do, but still). Come on now. Overpriced sometimes for sure 100%, but there is not laziness and sloppiness happening with Nintendo games. Mostly. Itās a Pokemon issue specifically.
Itās been awhile since iāve played them but what was the last good Pokemon? It seems like people havenāt been happy with the series for awhile. The last one I played was HeartGold and I really liked it.

I think the metaverse thing said by Satya is all bullcrap and he doesnāt even know what metaverse is, it was all decoy for regulators and gullible politicians. Phil knows it and he doesnāt care much. XD
